I don't think it will work (didn't when Tories tried it) and think this thread is a good summary of why we should ask him questions about his values regarding education. I suppose this is the absolute crux of the matter though. You could argue that people from minority groups should understand more than anyone why uneven playing fields are a damaging thing. Seeking to balance out inequality of opportunity in a way that benefits yourself is a fundamentally different principle to reducing inequality uniformly. Starmer's job isn't to win the next election it's to completely neuter the Labour Party so it never goes against NATO policy again.
