Thanks for that. Yes he played up front in two games due to 3 of our strikers being injured and performed manfully although it was clear that this wasn't his natural position.
Felt sorry for your guys losing him while still involved in the Scottish.

Next home game (Saturday 30th March, v Cumnock) is at Benburb, and with a 3:15pm KO.

No surprise given the state of the mudbath handed back to Maryhill after the Cup replay!

Anybody know if it's just this one that's going to New Tinto, or has that now become 'home' for the remainder of the season?

cheers

Looking good.

I apologise if it has been raised previously but are both clubs funding this work or one-or neither?Lok have been trying for years to look at major ground improvements but just seem unable to unlock sources of finance. And the City Council haven’t seemed interested at all.

The money for the redevelopment has come from the council. Approx £750,000 was the quoted amount. Whether this is how much is actually spent I don't know.

The ground is now run by a new entity - Holm Park Community Football Academy Limited - the board of which is split between Clydebank, Yoker and the Council.

I think it is safe to say Clydebank no longer groundshare with Yoker and are now equal partners.

The development only includes a new pitch, floodlights and perimeter fencing to secure the ground.

Any further development will have to be funded by the club(s) so I wouldn't expect anything else to happen anytime soon, though I'm sure Clydebank's board will definitely be looking at other funding possibilities.

I'm amazed by how much progress has been made! Any chance the pitch will be ready before the end of the season?

Regarding the dressing rooms they were done up a couple of years ago with money from the SFP so you would hope they are up to current standards

They arent up to scratch in terms of licensing and the actual clubhouse itself isnt really fit for purpose anymore. But will do in the short term I guess. They’ll need changing rooms to run lets from the park and I believe there was talk of trying to get something along the lines of Renfrew’s changing rooms.

The progress is looking good, it will be fantastic for the community. Out of curiosity with / if Clydebank move leagues how will the fixtures be sorted with Yoker?

Its looking very much like the wrsjfa will move at some point as a whole so it won’t really be an issue.
I agree it will be really good, we have a huge academy structure which would benefit from having a place to play in the town!
