TheNauld
Hopefully their proposal of a general secretary and fixtures secretary will get binned and Robertson can be shown the door, it’s not a two man job and he’s already shown he’s not up to the task

There is a third person in for the Fixtures Secretary position.....can't remember the name though. But it isn't Scott Robertson. There is the possibility that the EGM votes against having a Fixture Secretary and Scott Robertson gets the General Secretary job again and in charge of fixtures. SR hasn't applied for the Fixtures Secretary job because he knows it's beyond him. He is happy with the split role because it's the only possible way he has of keeping any position within the management committee. He's more or less been given a vote of no confidence from the management committee but he's too pig-headed to see it. If the clubs vote for a split role and vote him back in as Regional Secretary, they are just following the jobs for the boys scenario but removing all his power and privileges. In other words he's being sent on 'gardening duties '.If the clubs don't think the role needs split and still vote him back in, we can then all sit back and watch the demise of the region as one by one the clubs that voted for him trickle over to the inevitable WoSL. I think WoSFL will happen anyway. Really can't see how the SJFA with their antiquated way of doing things can exist at level 6. Season must be finished inline with EoS and SoS. We've just finished, Seniors are starting pre-season fixtures!
theesel1994
At least they have seen the light regarding the Evening Times Cup and have proposed that be competed for the following season. What were the red line things for HL and LL - fixtures was one of them but there were a couple of other things?

Discipline would have to be handled by the SFA, and of course re-instatement would have to be abolished, and all other rules and procedures would have to fall in line with the EoS and SoS eg no match permits required, no bar on playing friendlies. Which begs the question, if that happened, what reason would there be for the SJFA to continue to exist?
Inanimate Carbon Rod
Good luck Kennie would like to see him elected. Need to abolish the sectional league cup, even replace it with a straightforward knock out cup.
