MatchedBets
Hi everyone, Just to follow up on the original post. MatchedBets.com and ProfitSquad.co.uk are both matched betting sites. We help our members generate a profit from the free bets and bonuses given out by bookmakers by providing the tools & step-by-step guides to do so. Earlier this year we made the decision to join forces and as a result we've been able to offer more to our members in terms of tools and experience. If you've done matched betting before or still do it, let us know how you got on and what your thoughts were on it. As mentioned above, new members get full premium access to both MatchedBets.com and ProfitSquad.co.uk for 14 days for £1. There are over £1,000 of free bet offers listed and even if you have accounts at the 60+ bookmakers, new profitable offers are added every day. If you do decide to give it a go, leave a reply on here on with a short post on how you got on and how you found our sites and we'll give you a £5 free bet on anything you like. Email your bet to us, we'll put it on and send you the profit if it comes in. More info here Thanks Rob -
Oooooft
Never tried match betting, but a question arises. If its so easy and profitable, why are you not doing it instead of selling subscriptions?

If its so easy and profitable, why are you not doing it instead of selling subscriptions? The simple answer is that many of our staff do matched betting in their spare time as it's a really easy way to make a bit of extra money. The main reason we run the service is to advise and help others who may never have heard of matched betting and would not know where to start. Our step by step guides help people make a bit extra in their spare time, while our specialist software and tools make everything that much more simple. -
Oooooft
Thanks for the slippery reply I asked re 'you' not your proles though if they have to supplement their wages ....... I like betting, this isn't betting, and I have an image of you being in Lagos right fuckin now with your feet on the desk, a Laphroig in one hand and a big fat cigar clamped in your perfect teeth. Out and out scam. Good luck with your venture.

Out and out scam. Good luck with your venture. I am one of the staff members, and I can assure you I'm definitely not typing this from Lagos. I can understand the scepticism, as when it's a brand new concept some people can see it as 'too good to be true' but it's simply not the case. It's certainly not a scam, as matched betting has been around for years now and has been covered by a range of independent media outlets. We've built a community that like to help each other make a little bit extra, never branding ourselves as a 'get rich quick scheme' or anything like that. It's not betting in the traditional sense as we show people how to make a profit either way thanks to the use of betting exchanges. Information on how it works can be found on our website where it's explained in a lot more detail. No worries if it's not for you, but there are a lot of people making extra money from bookie offers with us. -

Oooooft
If you've built a community why invade this one? Reason. You are selling something. Selling more pyramids than Mubarak. 100% at it, and forum sponsored tooooooooo.
MatchedBets
Understand your scepticism guys, every one of our members went through the same process before deciding to give it a go (for just £1) and are now boosting 4 figure profits every single month. There are 100s of bookies out there now and in order to persuade you to use their business rather than competitors, they offer promotions and offers in the hope of getting you hooked on gambling. However, our strategies show you how to jump around these sites, and only bet when you can make a guaranteed profit. Matched Betting is nothing new, it has been featured in some well-known publications: https://www.theguardian.com/money/2010/jul/24/free-bets-bookies https://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/personalfinance/money-saving-tips/8185280/Is-this-a-bet-you-cant-lose.html You say this is a scam, however if it was it would be a pretty poor one as we are only asking for £1 and offer a full money-back guarantee if you aren't satisfied - hardly going to be a big money-maker for us if we didn't provide what we advertise. The reason we are successful as a company is because our members quickly realise that Matched Betting is a quick and easy way to make a nice bit of cash. -

Selling more pyramids than Mubarak. 100% at it, and forum sponsored tooooooooo. Matched betting is legit and in no way a scam. Treat it like a part time job and the benefits are tremendous. The sustainability of the operation fails when bookies start to click on to what you're up to and limiting accounts and excluding from free bet offers. You can do all the covering (non offer) bets you like, but eventually, they will cotton on and you'll be gubbed. I did it for about 3 months back in 2016 and invested about an hour a night. Walked off with £4.5k profit. Never went back to it since then as the restrictions placed by the bookies on free bets and grubbing me from offered meant my wings were clipped big time. Good wee short term earner though. I would say that the bigger pot you have to start with though, the quicker you'll progress as you need to match bets on exchanges like Betfair or Smarkets and winning bets is a matched bettors biggest enemy as this removes funds from exchanges. So the more money you can place in an exchange, the better as the more matched bets you can get on. Oooooft
So the reason the guy is selling sub's is because he can't get on bets anymore. Why didn't he say that? Still, its not gambling, its playing the stock market. Not for me.

Still, its not gambling, its playing the stock market. Not for me. Not necessarily, its easier and less hassle and more profitable for him to sell knowledge of the process than it is to carry on doing it, I'd imagine. I don't know the guy and have no knowledge of or affiliation with him or his company but there are so many bookies with free bet offers that it's difficult to keep up with who is offering what and how long certain offers are on for. You're basically paying for the service of being kept updated on what offers are on and the best methods of utilising each of these to make profit. These vary wildly between offers. I'm not sure what the exact service is or how well maintained it is but I was signed up to profit-accumulator for the entirety of my time doing matched betting and it was a massively helpful tool with a good, thriving community. Well worth 15 quid a month. And while it's not really gambling, it's not playing the stock market either. You can lose money on stocks and gambling. If you do matched betting by the book, you can only make money. Not lose it.
MatchedBets
Thanks to those who have chipped in with a bit of reassurance. I'll give you a quick example of how matched betting works. Ladbrokes offer new customers a £50 free bet when they sign up and place their first bet of £50. Usually, a punter would sign up, deposit £50, place a bet and hope it wins. It might, it might not. Either way they get a £50 free bet. They then place their £50 free bet on something. Again, it might win, it might not. Both bets could win but also both could lose and the punter will have lost money. This is how a matched bettor would do it: Sign up to Ladbrokes, deposit £50 and place it on a bet. Let's say Barca to beat Real Madrid at odds of evens (2.0). We also place a £50 bet on Barca not to beat Real Madrid at odds of evens (2.0). This is called a lay bet and we do this on a betting exchange such as Betfair. The result: If Barca win, we get £50 profit from the bookmaker and lose £50 at Betfair. If Barca don't win, we lose £50 with the bookmaker but make £50 profit at Betfair. Either way, we have broken even. However, Ladbrokes have given us a £50 free bet as we've placed a bet with them. So we have received a free bet for nothing (in reality there may be some small betting exchange fees depending on which exchange you use). It is from the free bet that we make a profit. Now that we have a £50 free bet, we repeat the process of backing and laying a selection. This time using our free bet. However, as we're using a free bet instead of our own money for the bet with the bookmaker, our lay stakes don't have to be as much. Therefore, we are able to generate a profit no matter if our selection wins or loses. The matched betting calculator we have on MatchedBets shows you exactly how much you lay bets need to be to make the highest profit from your free bet whether it wins or loses. Generally, you should be able to extract around 80% cash from a free bet. So, if you have a £50 free bet, you can expect to make roughly £40 from it. There are hundreds of these offers about and our service is gathering these offers into one place (MatchedBets.com), providing step-by-step guides on how to profit from each one and providing tools which make it quick and easy. Tools such as our Odds Matcher, Horse Racing Matcher, ACCA tool and many more. -

There's a big P+B thread on it, most posters seem to pay for a similar service. http://www.pieandbovril.com/forum/index.php?/topic/227424-matched-betting/ I don't get the rage on here for this or Fitbatips who are just offering a transparent service for people who are happy paying others to do a bit of the work. How is a £1 trial period a scam? I'm not interested in matched betting or Fitbatips cautious betting strategy as it's too boring for me, but I really don't understand the indignant exploding heads over either offer. And the idea that if they were any good a gambling they'd be so rich they wouldn't be selling the info is like saying all Financial Advisors should be sitting on yachts in Monte Carlo if they're any good. It's just dumb. Edited June 25, 2018 by welshbairn
