This will follow the 1 hour Pre-Show, 4 hour main card format, live on the WWE Network. For ourselves that means 11PM for the Pre-Show and a midnight start for the main card. This will be the 10th instalment of Extreme Rules and it is being held in the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Confirmed Matches: Sin Cara vs Andrade "Cien" Almas (Kickoff match). The New Day vs SAnitY in a Tables match (Kickoff match). Finn Balor vs Constable Baron Corbin. Carmella (C) vs Asuka for the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship. Alexa Bliss (C) vs Nia Jax in an Extreme Rules match for the WWE Raw Women's Championship. James Ellsworth will be in a Shark Cage. The Deleters of Worlds (C) vs The B Team for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championship. The Bludgeon Brothers (C) vs Team Hell No for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship. Jeff Hardy (C) vs Shinsuke Nakamura for the WWE United States Championship. Braun Strowman vs Kevin Owens in a Steel Cage match. Roman Reigns vs Bobby Lashley. Dolph Ziggler (C) vs Seth Rollins in a 30-Minute Iron Man match for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. AJ Styles (C) vs Rusev for the WWE Championship. Hopefully Drew gets a chance.Shame Jeff v Naka Is on Smackdown this week unless we’ll see a non finish. I think this would be good In an extreme rules match.Seth v Ziggy will be good, hopefully see ambrose return and attack Seth and set up for summerslam. Assume it's part of a storyline, or maybe they've just realised that it's fucking ages until the next PPV and they have no idea what to do. Roman will win whatever match to become the number 1 contender and will bang on about Brock being part time and will use him ducking out of the match at Extreme Rules and blah blah zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. They should just have Strowman cash in ahead of time for a match at Summerslam and then just beat him. Lesnar is so, so stale at the moment, and if he does plan to stick around then having him with a handful of appearances in big marquee matches without the title might see him a bit more interesting. But I expect Reigns will get one more shot, and then Braun will cash in or something in some vain attempt to get him sympathy. Which will obviously fail.
