Drop in revenue Officials may scunner also, and club friction may erupt. Huge loss to the reputation of the club, making it harder to get players. etc, etc. etc We are all entitled to our opinions, and sometimes you have to think of the worst case scenario,we have been in situation before where we had 3 relegations in a row,so imo it's not really a problem Yes, relegated from the Premier right down. But this is of a different scale altogether

Whittlets vic
It was good to see a good turnout from your club the day considering your results of late [emoji122][emoji122] I also thought your number 8 was a player. Hopefully you can turn it round and all the best for the season coming
Guest
Good numbers down at Whitletts the day, so keep going lads, obviously plenty support still backing you. we’ve been in this position before and it’s not nice but you’ll get through it and keep going regardless of what league you’re in

Bigjeffery
Why do the people of larkhall keep talking about the past and what they have done in the past, what larkhall have done 20/30 years ago means absolutely f**k all just now! The committee should have took the offer from larkhall amateurs to take most of the good players to the juniors and they would have the foundations of a right good side. And people from the juniors will say they were a team of thugs and all the rest of it but there is 2 sides to every story so all may not be what it seems! And they would be a far better team than what the juniors have now

Bigjeffery
Not a former player I’m afraid, was hopeless at football in my younger days. A close friend shall we say of one of the managers [emoji6]!

larky9
So it goes on with no end in sight. Like a wounded old Lion whose time is over, no end to the humiliation.Sometimes you have to go back to move forward, when Sinky was at the club most of the players were there for 4yrs,if we can keep half the team from this season and build for next season we will get there, bringing in a whole new team plus the management was a bridge too far, there will be light at the end of the tunnel but not in the short term

If you are a custodian of the club then you really should be ashamed of yourself. Your team is slowly entering a losing mentality. Players are hardly going to be queuing up to join a team who is slowly becoming a laughing stock. You choose a manager with 18 games experiences junior level. Sadly it hasn’t worked out for him. There’s no shame in that but for whatever the reason he’s not going to do the honourable thing. So the decision is in the committees hands.
larky9
I'm just a supporter of the club that's all,Derek's pedigree as a player is good,so given time you hope he will do ok as a manager, but his job was always going to be that but difficult because he had to build a new team so in saying that if we go down it's not a problem, the young players will have a season under their belt which should hold them in good stead for next season

Certain Individual
Entitled to an opinion you are. The committee is letting the club and it’s supporters down. Surely as custodians of the club they should be stabilising things and keep them so going forward until eventually the next generation take over. But as things are going just now there won’t be much left to handover. Your club is in free fall. Im not doubting Dereks pedigree as a player. But sadly good players don’t necessarily make good managers. I suspect you could pick a team on a Saturday and the results wouldn’t be any worse. So in my opinion it’s time for a change. There’s decent idle managers out there with experience and contacts that’ll at least steady the ship before the supporters get fed up and slowly start moving on. What young person wants to go and watch that every week.
