Also a lot of non factual drivel you read on here with people supposedly in the know.

Must be a few bods out their who’s only social interaction with the outside world is their daily outburst of bs.

A bit like yourself then, when you set a post up just to bullshit about the young lad nicol.

9-0!

ask yourself this - if you were in charge would you wait until you’ve set all kinds of new results records for the club or would you do the right thing and admit to yourself that despite doing your best it’s still well short of what supporters and committee deserve and not  cause the club any further embarrassment.

The committee have it in their power to deal with the issue and if they choose to do nothing they must take responsibility for that.

Correct.

That stage was passed weeks ago.  Larkhall are the proud owners of so many positive records, such as;

Oldest Junior Football Club

Most players turned Senior

Most full Scottish  Internationals produced, including 5 full Scotland captains,  and International players for Australia, USA, England and Ireland.

Celtic & Rangers skippers, Lisbon Lion,  Wembley scorers, Liverpool & Aberdeen skippers.  Two of the first real superstars of the game, in Neilly Gibson and Alex Raisbeck

Managers galore produced, including Jim McLean and Davie McParland ( sadly passed away recently )

Only Junior Club to have hosted a Junior Cup Final.

50+ trophies, plus 70-odd runners-up spots, including 2 Scottish Cup wins.

NOW

Worst set of results in an 140-year history,  and getting close to the worst set of results in Junior history.

I remember wins like 10-0 against Glenafton, 14-2 against Stonehouse etc.

This cannot go on- all very well saying we will go down and rebuild,  this is very detrimental in so many ways and I feel really sorry for the youngsters wearing the famous colours  especially considering the calibre of their predecessors.

Good times or bad, the Jags are woven into the fabric of Scottish Junior Football, and this situation is a tragedy

Listen we will not stay up this season, the committee are working as hard as they possibly can,it will be not a bad thing to go down and see where we are for next season, the new management team knew what they were taking on this season, so I doubt it very much if we sacked the gaffer somebody could do better, especially with the players at their disposal, the young players are working and playing as well as they can,but we are needing some experienced junior players in to help them,so I don't really know if the management team are addressing this, but time will tell

The good thing for the young players is they are getting a chance to play at a good level, albeit we are getting pumped every week, they should be hungry enough to say bugger it,and just go out there and showcase their talents, apart from pride and embarrassment they have nothing too lose, and it should hold them in good stead for next season if they choose to hang around

No disrespect intended, but your answer is teeming with complacency.

OF COURSE its a bad thing to go down.

IT IS A CRISIS / DISASTER to lose so heavily every week, the ramifications could be ; ( not exhaustive )

Totally scunnering the youngsters / harming their careers / wellbeing

Total desertion of all support, nobody will turn up to see ritual slaughter every week.

Drop in revenue

Officials may scunner also, and club friction may erupt.

Huge loss to the reputation of the club, making it harder to get players.

etc, etc. etc

If you really believe that then I am even more worried.

We are all entitled to our opinions, and sometimes you have to think of the worst case scenario,we have been in situation before where we had 3 relegations in a row,so imo it's not really a problem
