What is being claimed is that the players were not being paid, at least until the season end. What is beyond dispute is that a serious chasm developed between the officials and the playing staff / management. Because of the situation we now have sides taking a pop at one another- see our website & social media. Totally unheard of in our history, we now have a group of ex-players who unlike their predecessors ( many distinguished names amongst them ) do not revere our cherished colours. At least their payments were honoured at Larkhall I can guarantee there'll be a number of players who did not receive what they were due and a number of players who played for nothing. It’s wasn’t lack of trying they got beat Troon pumped larky from start to finish the boy playing left mid that day for Troon I think scored 2/3 and set most goals up he was frightening. So saying it’s disappointing the guys didn’t try is a lot of shite. That team should have been praised for keeping the club up in what is probably the most difficult junior league.. not slated.. and Sinky and tam should be commended in staying so long and keeping the team together for the season or what is happening just now at the thistle could have happened last year! Larkhall owe Sinky and tam a hell of a lot and cannot be questioned on commitment at all them or the team!
