Just reading your league fixture on Saturday got me thinking when the last time St. Roch's would've played Arthurlie in a league game. With Arthurlie having been in the top couple of Central divisions since the mid 80s it must be close on 40 years since the two clubs met for league points. Even without league reconstruction this season both clubs would still have been in the same division in the old super first.

We could not have asked for a tougher 1st fixture but looking forward to visiting Dunterlee for 1st time

Tough season ahead for the roch some strong teams in the league. The roch more than capable of holding there own and jmp a hard place to visit so hopefully that continues this season

I wouldn't be overly concerned about the result last night. Maxi has built a strong team during his time in charge and after the monday night peasy game rob roy always going to be up for it. Also rob roy a league above aswell. Plenty of ups and downs to come throughout the season so should be interesting

Other than Benburb and the Ants are there any other teams in the West Region without even the slightest bit of cover for supporters.

C’mon the Candy , not my team but the work you do in the community is amazing. You are the conscience of Junior football. I wish you success this year except in 2 games.

and Newmains.

Also, Blantyre Vics' characterfully dilapidated enclosure has been deemed unsafe - demolished, leaving no cover there either.

Easy to see why Livingstone moved to Africa.
