Bossed this game today from start to finish. A lot of good football played from the back and through the midfield. A few fringe players starting today and they all done well.

tough draw away to Lanark who are flying at the moment.

We are. All we hope is that we are competitive.

Vics deserved the win, took our chances well in 1st and Kilsyth weren't in it 1st half. In 2nd they had majority of the possession as Vics sat in a bit too much.
Must say I was pleasantly surprised by the result given both teams recent results but Vics deserved it. Thought Kilsyth had some decent football in them but it wasn't their day.

Ah well, after the disappointing display in the league game yesterday and the loss to Irvine Vics, we move onto a big game in the Scottish cup on Saturday at home to Hurlford Utd, let's home we can get a big home support down at Duncansfield to cheer on the team, hope the boys can pick themselves up and put in a good performance

Really enjoyed our day out at Duncansfield today. The hospitality from Kilsyth was first class from the moment we arrived.

Great place to watch a game too and the old tunnel is classy. The pitch looked good, but a lot of players were losing their footing early on. However, that might be more to do with the slippers the players wear.

Hurlford started well and controlled the match early on. They took the lead thru Liam Caddis after a slick move on 20 minutes and then after another dominant spell went two up thru Taz McKenzie.

Far from being dead and buried, Kilsyth went straight up the pitch and pulled one back thru Salim. They then had their best spell of the game and ended the half on the front foot.

The second half was more even until Hurlford extended their lead thru a Ross Roberston header. Kilsyth then went down to 10 men when their No 8 stupidly raised his hands off the ball.

I actually thought KR caused Hurlford more problems after that than before with the movement of nos 7 (Kelly?) and 10 particularly impressive.

All in all IMHO, Hurlford had a bit more experience and quality throughout the team, and thoroughly deserved their victory. KR looked decent and had several standout players. All the best to yourselves for the rest of the season and again thank you very much for your hospitality.

Really wasn't disappointed with our defeat yesterday to a team who are steam rolling the top division. Thought it was a very even match but Hurlford were clinical with their finishing whereas we missed several golden opportunities. Hurlford striker was very good and gave our centre halfs a real hard time with bullet looking out of sorts again. Feared the worst when Scotty got a stupid red card but the boys really dug in and actually created a few great chances to get back in the game.

Hope Hurlford now go on and win it

I agree that we created more after going down to 10 men. Sometimes a red card galvanises the 10 remaining players.

No matter 2 teams playing a game that means nothing in the context of the promotion or relegation places

You don't half talk some amount of mince at times, lol.  Whitletts would go 3rd if they win tomorrow, i.e. into the promotion positions.
