Firstly deepest sympathy Euzi very sad news.

The game yesterday was poor. Not much quality from either side but Darvel deserved their victory. Looked like we were lacking players again yesterday with 4 centre halves starting. Hopefully the management have finally learned that JT and Tully can not play together with both making far to many basic mistakes.

First half was even with not much football being played by either team. Second half Darvel took control and created a few chances and went 3-1 up. We then made a couple of changes and pressed them for the last 15-20 mins without really looking like scoring. The ref was poor, reacting to whoever shouted the loudest and was not helped by the linos who made zero decisions. The penalty was soft but Tully did give him the opportunity to give it but if the ref deems that a pen then we had a bigger shout for one earlier. Bad day against a poor team.

Euzi, I’m sorry to hear about your dad. Hope everyone in your family is ok and all goes well on Wednesday.

Just to make it clear, Jimmy Sievewright was no relation to Euzi, he received the message from Donald Sievewright and was passing it on for information of those of us who remember him in his playing days.  Jimmy was signed from Baillieston and I'm sure there will be some folks who remember him at that club. Whether any of them still visit this site is less likely however.

Kilsyth Rangers would like to thank all players ,management team, supporters and sponsors for their involvement in what was a very successful race night on Saturday 6 October. A special thanks go to Paul Martin who organized and compared the evening and also to the Burgreen Miners Welfare for their involvement and the use of their premises.
