Not sure if serious.

Was being serious Ali. They should have stayed and applauded them off. Was at Stamford Bridge when Liverpool ended Chelsea’s 86 game unbeaten home run and half of them left before the end while the other half stayed and booed them off lol.

Was more the front of you agreeing with a post describing them as glory hunters tbh.

We all like the sniff of a bit of glory Ali but you stick with your team through the  highs and lows :)

Agreed it should be the best player of each year. The 5-5 was right between Messi and Ronaldo IMO but Ronaldo should have gone 6-5 ahead last year, but the Modric narrative had been set ever since they started doing well in the World Cup. I don’t think it’s in the interest of anyone for Ronaldo or Messi to win it again. The media/fans seem desperate to crown a new star already.

Messi and Ronaldo have pretty much dominated European football for the last 10 years so I can understand anyone finding the predictability and repetition a bit boring, even though those two absolutely deserve it.

Mbappe’s doing a not bad job of trying to be the new guy so far though.

Maybe a young Dutch defender could be this new star..

I don't think de Ligt has done enough in his career yet. Hopefully he doesn't jump at the first big move offered either.

Real Madrid are the only team to have defeated Atletico Madrid in a European knockout tie in the last six seasons.

Is this Atletico's year ?

Would be some story especially with home advantage in the final.
