Why are people talking as if Solskjaer has been "found out" here? What we found out is that even a slightly weak PSG team are still fucking brilliant and still have exceptional players who can tear teams apart. There's not exactly a lot wrong about that team winning.

Because that’s the way it works now Flutie. Big games turn on the slightest thing. Win and your greatest thing ever. Lose and it’s the opposite. Not on here of course :)

Kylian M’bappé is phenomenal. He’s just turned 20 and once Messi decides to hangs up his boots, this boy is the future.

Messi

Ronaldo

Dobbie

Mbappe

The quartet of greatness.

This was OGS first real test and they got beaten pretty easily.  Will be interesting to see how they get on in this run of big games coming up.

Not sure there are many managers out there, if any at all, who would be capable of guiding that Man Utd team to a 2 leg victory over this PSG side. Any kind of result for Man Utd would have been a massive over achievement.

Completely agree.  However Man Utd fans, like our SS up here, believe success is entitled to them from the Fergie era so I assume this is the level they want to be at and they probably wouldn't accept it any other way in the long run.

I'm not looking to go full-on Paul Ince but the recent results against some poorer teams have saw people making outlandish comments on how good OGS is.  He could be, and you can only beat the teams you play, but its in the games with teams at their level where he should be judged.

Chelsea this weekend should be a good indicator of where he is at, even though they are in a bit of a state.

PS - PSG are top class and I think they will win the CL this year.  The whole squad they have is actually frightening.

It’s just that the UK media are incapable of any perspective. When it comes to anything connected to the English Premiership, it must always be amazing and brilliant - they rarely admit to a game being rubbish or a team not being the best because they have to sell the game at all costs.

OGS has been hyped up by a media who want to see Man Utd being strong. He’s had a great run but that’s all it is at the moment, so it’s quite good to see a hole pierced in the hype machine, rather than much to do with OGS personally.

What's with the minutes silence... then turns into an applause after 20secs?

Similar at Old Trafford last night. The announcer was still giving Banks' tribute in the build up to the silence and they started applauding. Fans are just thick.

Yes imagine if BT suddenly said we think only Man City will get through to the quarters .

In BT world an all english or mainly english last 4 is likely , due to the “quality” of the best league in world

This why the usual flag wavers like arry , ince etc are always brought out to support this
