Man that was a nervy one tonight should have had it out of sight. The last 10 minutes was torture and just knew Napoli  would get a late chance. What a save.

Roll on Monday’s draw for the last 16 :)

Genuine question, how much did Celtic sell Virgil for? It wasn't enough, that's for sure.

Was it not about £15m?

Perversely, he didn't actually look that good for them as he was so far ahead of everyone he pretty much just strolled it at half pace the whole time.

Liverpool should have won that by five or six. Napoli are fucking dreadful.

They should have aye but it's hilarious how every time Liverpool win in the champions League their opponents are pish

napoli are a very good side to be fair just made to look ordinary

Man utd concede again

I see can united taking a hiding from someone in the knockout stages .

They would have been better going out the champions league and trying to qualify via the Europa

Just me but I didn’t think Liverpool were anything special tonight .

City won’t sweep all before them , certainly not in the champions league anyway

Not just you, they weren't that good going forward last night. Very wasteful at times. It's obvious one or two players need a bit of a break. Problem is, the big games keep on coming now. That's where City are at a huge advantage at the moment. Aguero and Be Bruyne both out, but don't look significantly weaker, Saturday apart, like Liverpool would do if they lost Firmino and Salah for a similar period.

The thing is though, they don't need to score every chance they get now, as they won't be leaking goals at the other end of the park, where they were excellent last night again without Lovren and Gomez, which is nice.
