Deserved to win by a mile, in the end the missed chances almost meant they deserved the sucker punch. What an outstanding 'keeper.

Staggie_93
Michael Owen reckons it might’ve been better for Mane missing that sitter in the end, as the ball went further away from the goal. What rather than go up 2-0?

Top of the league in England as well, for the moment. Dreadful standard this season though.
Mastermind
Good results for Liverpool and Tottenham, and all four English teams through to Monday’s draw for the last 16.

Yeah, at that stage a second goal would have made little difference. It was also a joke. The sooner Inter bin Spalletti the better. Always comes up short in laughable fashion.

Fair enough I wasn`t watching the game just aware that Liverpool needed to win 1-0 or by 2 goals if Napoli scored.

Unfortunately for them tonight Liverpool were on top form. Same happened with Roma last year, put in an incredible performance to put Barca out in the quarters and then suddenly pish when they get dismantled by Liverpool.
Musketeer Gripweed
Liverpool weren't really in much danger tonight to be honest. They really haven't been all season. Van Dijk and Becker have made a huge difference to the club, and takes away a lot of pressure on the forwards to score 3 or 4 goals every week. TAA and Gomez will only make the defence better with the more experience they get as well. Just a shame Manchester City will sweep all before them for years to come. Genuine question, how much did Celtic sell Virgil for? It wasn't enough, that's for sure.
