The "shocking" brigade are only too happy to jump on the slightest error on the pitch, even when we're winning 6-0 away to the league leaders. If this was the case then he is most definitely right! That performance today against the league leaders has to be up there with the best in a very long time.Others may be in a better position to judge that.
Cairn1902
I'm pretty sure I know where you are coming from, but if you think supporters just pop along, pay there money and watch in silence without monaning, shouting cheering, laughing then what's the point!!I am very happy to change “moaners” to “abusers”[emoji6]

glensmad
Yesterday was a big performance from the whole team, but one player in particular was just about every Glencairn fan's Man of the Match.Del Esplin grabbed the game by the throat from early in the match, and he completely dominated the midfield. He almost completed a brilliant hat trick before half time, and deserved the right to actually do it when Simeon handed him the ball for the late penalty and the 6th goal. That was Del's 6th Man of the Match nomination of the season, an early favourite to win the Website Player of the Year.
Disco30
His 2 strikes were fantastic strikes , ball was past the keeper before he had the chance to move. Big smiddys header was a peach as well. Great performance and great result.

The first one he's just leathered it after a great set-up by Simeon, but the second one Del has controlled the ball perfectly on his thigh and shifted the ball into a position to shoot, before getting his head over the ball and placing his shot perfectly. The technique was spot on.
Disco30
100 percent agree with that , big game players returned to form at the right time for the glens after a minor sticky patch. Cumbernauld out with yourselves are the team I have liked the look of most this season as well as rossvale. Benburb are effective in what they do. From 1st to 7th the games are usually very well contested in the championship this year.

glensmad
A very good three points for us today. When you look at the fixtures and see that you're going away to Girvan the Saturday before Christmas, you know that will be a battle on a sticky pitch. We totally dominated the game from start to finish, and got our reward for our patience in the end.Top of the league at Christmas, mustn't grumble. Totally agree and well done the glens. On another day could have been out of sight but this more to do with the pitch than the finishing.
