Remarkable season for Crossgates qualifying to the new Premier Division and now reaching a cup semi-final.

When did they last reach a cup final or indeed semi-final?

Underdog, but hot form.

Underdog, but hot form.

Last final was a 94-95 Kingdom cup loss to Newburgh. Last semis were Fife Cup in 01-02 (made semis the season before also) & Cowdenbeath Cup in the same season.

Will the battle of the Roses be played under the lights at Prestonfield?
Might stick them on half time. Allows a later kick off if desired.

There’s also the matter of a wee London derby on the tele that night. As for me I’ll be behind the goals.

Any news on the venue for the final?

I have heard that if Bonnyrigg win it's at Lithgae and if Lithgae win it's at Nitten.

Surely Newtongrange would be more sensible venue regardless.

Confirmed here that it's Newtongrange if Tranent v Linlithgow, and at Linlithgow if Tranent v Bonnyrigg (which would be an odd one geography-wise):

Aye it would that, much nearer for both sides if its Tranent and Bonnyrigg.

It's probably to give a final at linlithgow because they would want to use their best venues for the final
