Red Rose
Good result for Sauchie. We should have the league flag up early March.

tamthebam
Haddington v Eyemouth: Half way through second half play is stopped (can't remember why)- the ball is kicked by a player towards the Eyemouth goalie who tries to pull off a Rene Higuita scorpion kick. He didn't quite succeed but fair play on the guy for giving the crowd some entertainment!
HibeeJibee
Triple serving of Christmas football fare from Conference B is the only EOS League action next Saturday, as it stands.Crossgates v Dundonald in a Fife derby, Dunipace v Tynecastle and Eyemouth v LTHV are all at the early time of 1:30pm. Dundonald would close to 1pt off top with victory, while Crossgates would jump from 6th to 3rd. LTHV desperately need points to start hauling-in 11pt gap on top 5/6. HibeeJibee
Unlike the other 2 conferences where a clear top 4 exists fighting for the title, it's all a bit more strung-out here. Bonnyrigg have already built themselves a solid 7pt lead over Dundonald with 1 game-in-hand... and that doubles to 14pts over Dalkeith and Sauchie. Indeed even if either of those sides went on a 100% run right to the end of the season the Rose would have to fritter an average of 4pts every 3 games. As such their visit to Cardenden on Saturday 9th March looks the biggest single remaining match. Bo'ness and Tranent can also close-up with games-in-hand. Where this conference differs is in the intensity of the fight for the top 5/6 places and the new Premier Division. Realistically everyone from Dalkeith in 3rd to LTHV in 9th are engaged in this immense struggle. 1 Bonnyrigg P13 37pts +55 ------------------------------------- 2 Dundonald P14 30pts +24 3 Dalkeith P13 23pts +7 4 Sauchie P13 23pts +6 5 Bo’ness P10 21pts +17 ===================================== 6 Crossgates P12 21pts +10 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ 7 Tranent P10 20pts +21 8 Haddington P12 17pts +14 9 LTHV P12 13pts -7

Ginaro
Loan signing for Dundonald from Raith Rovers. Presumably it's now easier for these deals and transfers to go through now that they are a senior club?

Languishing in the bottom third for much of the season, his LTHV side have now set alight to their campaign with 4 straight wins, and find themselves only 4pts from 5th with 1 game-in-hand. Indeed only 6pts from 3rd! Title is not going to be theirs but fight for the top 5/6 is now very much on, and who might have said that mid-autumn. Acid test in the coming weeks as they face Crossgates, Sauchie, Haddington and Dalkeith.
Jambo'ness
Huge game today in Bo'ness beating Dundonald. A really important win as visits to Tranent & Bonnyrigg coming up. A defeat could have shattered morale.
HibeeJibee
Commanding position for Bonnyrigg now... 7pts clear of Dundonald with 2 games-in-hand, 15pts clear of Crossgates and of Bo'ness (who have 2 games on them) and only 9 games left to play.

Weren't good yesterday and were 4-0 up and hanging on by the end. There's something really missing from previous years. The players don't look as fit. Hope I'm wrong but don't see the boys coming close to top 5. The 4 wins have all been against teams below them and they've struggled v Eyemouth who everyone else is hammering. On a positive number 8 for Eyemouth looks a good player. Edited January 20, 2019 by rigano
Deanburn Dave
I think most fans realise the question is WHEN will Bonnyrigg Rose win Conference B rather than IF.Race for a top 5 finish still very competitive.
Gimme
I think most fans realise the question is WHEN will Bonnyrigg Rose win Conference B rather than IF.Race for a top 5 finish still very competitive. As it stands Bo'ness can reach 61pts and Dundonald 57pts both still to play Bonnyrigg once.Tranent can also get to 57pts with both Bo'ness and Dundonald still to play. With the exception of Eyemouth and Burntisland everyone else is capable of taking points from each other62pts from a possible 70 is therefore the current target for us.The bigger concern for Bonnyrigg is the fact we could still have a shedload of cup games to fit in as well.
bravehearts dad
Well we won’t be going to the former junior team in Fife now if we get to the semi final of the Football Nation Cup. Am peeing ma breeks at what they have done, oops have dribbled again. Cmon The Rose

HibeeJibee
Bump. Realistically it'd take a collapse from Bonnyrigg for Dundonald or anyone else to catch 'em - but it looks a 3-month battle royal for 5th (and 6th) place. Boomtown Boy
No reason to think Bonnyrigg wont go onto win this section. My aim is a little bit higher, we should be aiming for an undefeated season. (apart from Scottish)

(apart from Scottish) You could very well go undefeated for the season and still not get promoted as you have no floodlights which is seemingly a new requirement to achieve the license

cookieboy
You could well be correct as nothing seems straight forward with this license process
