The highest point total that 6th place in Conference C can get is 35 points. So while Top 5 might be out of reach, 6th in the Conference is quite likely to convey a EoS Premier spot.

Can’t see Coldstream getting any more than 7 points from their remaining matches, and probably less than that. So the top 6 will remain as is. Not sure why you aren’t mentioning Conference B, as the 6th place team from that conference will get a higher points tally than Leith’s 34.

Because there's a good chance that two 6th placed teams will be required. 15 (Top 5)+2 (6th placed) = 17 - 1 EoS Champion.

Cove getting promoted and Berwick or Albion Rovers relegated could easily happen potentially meaning no EoS club moving up even through application so a second sixth placed team getting in is far from a foregone conclusion. It will also be interesting to see if a 15th placed club in single digits on points rates a reprieve where the LL membership is concerned.

I know, above I was in the middle of explaining that there might not even be the need for a 6th placed team. But then just left things as up in the air as there's two many different scenarios still at play.

Wouldn't surprise me. Once you're out of the SPFL you aren't going to attract the same level of player and we've seen how Borders teams have struggled recently. Get stuck down in the Lowland League they might never get out having to compete against all the central belt teams on a budget.
drs
If they do go down they'd be better repositioning themselves as a Lothians team, sourcing players and doing their training say in Musselburgh or Edinburgh instead of Berwick. Brechin for example train in Falkirk and Berwick would be most wise to consider doing the same. Unless they already do, in which case they really are fecked!!
LongTimeLurker
No idea what they do nowadays, but I'm almost certain they were an Edinburgh based team in training terms in the past. The emergence of Edinburgh City and to a lesser extent Spartans probably hasn't done them any favors.

They trained at Meadowmill for years, but not sure if they’re still there or moved to Haddington recently IF they go down I honestly can’t see any way back for them

Hertz1874
Just not enough local lads willing to play for them I guess. Budget differences, Tweedmouth have more cash going into them than Berwick Rangers budget allows for.
marcelo
Big results on Saturday there with Musselburgh failing to win at Coldstream and Penicuik being held to a 1-1 draw at home to Dunbar, hill of beath sitting top on goal difference but will fall back into second place if Penicuik can get a point at Hawick tomorrow night, a win for Penicuik will rule out Musselburgh for the league title and becomes a 2 horse race between Penicuik and hill of beath

The title outcome may depend on the result between Penicuik and Musselburgh on the last f=day of league matches.
