Potentially two great matches to look forward to!

Ginaro
Looks like Musselburgh were fortunate to get a point, Oakley through on goal late on but couldn't score the winner. Gap now 5 at the top to Penicuik but HoB still have two games in hand.
HibeeJibee
Having lost their first league game of the season in the preceding match Penicuik should have been left pretty content with the way the weekend went... their Friday win was followed by both Musselburgh and Newtongrange dropping points at home whilst Hill of Beath weren't in action. This restores their lead to 5pts but the Fifers have 2 games-in-hand which can draw then joint level. 1 Penicuik P13 36pts +54 ------------------------------------- 2 Musselburgh P13 31pts +19 3 Hill of Beath P11 30pts +45 4 Newtongrange P13 30pts +32 January 12th and February 16th are the impending "Super Saturdays" - although Newtongrange also visit Hill of Beath on February 2nd: these sides have yet to meet. | H of B | Mussel | Newton | Peni’k | | | | | | | | | | | Jan 05 | Oakley (H) | Dunbar (A) | Easth. HibeeJibee
They deserved it and could have made it 3pts if the late pressure had paid-off. Coldstream will rue the soft-looking 2nd yellow that reduced them to 10-men and conceded the free kick which sparked the homesters come-back from 1-3 down. Higher up Penicuik ground-out their 1-0 win over Arniston and HoB thumped Oakley but Musselburgh lost at Dunbar and Newtongrange lost at Easthouses, which leaves the table looking of this complexion:Penicuik P14 39pts -----------------------------------Hill of Beath P12 33ptsMusselburgh P14 31ptsNewtongrange P14 30ptsDunbar P14 26pts -----------------------------------Leith P15 21pts -----------------------------------Easthouses P14 19ptsColdstream P13 17pts So if HoB won their 2 games-in-hand they'd draw level with Penicuik, while the others fall behind; plus if Coldstream won their game-in-hand there would only be 7pts separating 5th down to 8th in the fight for the top 5/6 slots. Starting to get tense in this conference. Edited January 5, 2019 by HibeeJibee
Ginaro
28 minutes ago, gogsy said: Tweedmouth tightening up their defence 44 goals conceded in their first five games inc 24 in first couple of games. Just 27 conceded last nine games though. It does of course help when they've only played one of those nine games against a top 5 club. We'll see how their improved their defence is against HoB in two weeks...

Obviously with being a remote club their player options are limited. Good young keeper in goals, and experience at the back now too.

Why can’t you just give the club some credit, instead of being a smart c**t

Jambob
Easthouses Lily 0-3 Berwick Rangers. Good run out pretty much a full strength Berwick VI. 0-0 HT before the legs started to give a little in the second half.
