Does anyone have information on average attendances for Group A clubs over the last season in their respective leagues? Do Penicuik Athletic still average over 200 supporters a game? Newtongrange Star around 250 and Musselburgh Athletic around 180?  Hill of Beath Hawthorn around 100? These are old stats from 2 or 3 years ago.

Will Newtongrange be the best supported club in this Conference?

There is then the drawing power and interest created from the new competition.

SOME  junior clubs have seen 25% reduction in crowds/gate money from last season in this group despite all of them improving on the park from the previous season.

Supporters want Local games and proper organisation - these 8 clubs have listened and acted.

Expect Initial improvement in crowds if clubs communicate and promote themselves

Would be great to see Friday night games.
They definitely would be crowd pullers. Has the EoS shown flexibility in the past if clubs request a date change to avoid clashing with big games on tv etc?

No Friday night league games last year, but both King Cup semis were on the Friday before the Scottish Cup final last month. Under 20s games are on Friday nights.

I don't think there's any restrictions to speak of. Clubs can agree to move games around however they like, provided there's no ulterior motives and it doesn't clash with anything. It's actually been less common in recent seasons - but a while back you used to get Edinburgh City and Hawick playing on Friday evenings several times a season. Full cards also used to be put onto Friday evenings when Scotland had a Saturday home tie, but with UEFA's TV deal that doesn't happen nowadays. Of course there are no restrictions over playing games by artificial light which gives flexibility for midweeks and Fridays where installed.

Where there is a midweek card it tends to be spread-out over Tuesday + Wednesday. You can see this in the Qualifying Leagues where you've got 5 sections on Tuesday and 5 on Wednesday plus there are 2 games in Midlothian and Fife each night; 1 in Edinburgh, West Lothian and Stirlingshire each night. Most of the derbies are played on international weekends, New Year, SPFL Premiership winter break, etc.

Remember there's also the Groundhop every March/April with half-a-dozen games spread-out across Friday/Saturday/Sunday:

Thanks for the info Ginaro and Hibee Jibee. Always felt it was a waste sometimes in the Juniors having floodlights and barely using them, there may be more scope in EoS
The ground hop also looks a good idea, was it successful previously as in crowd size etc?

Crowds are in a quote box in my post, maybe can't see it depending on device.

Average has sunk a few dozen each season but it's been at smaller clubs (plus novelty probably worn off for local "neutrals").
