What a clusterfuck this is. Has anyone informed Eyemouth United to cancel the aftermatch buffet ????? Don’t worry about the strippers though, I’ll take care of that

There is some consolation that you will still have Bo’ness Utd in town that day for a game, and they are well renowned pie experts. So get them in the oven and they will be the correct temperature on the day for scoffing.

How could they re-instate them when their offence was the same if not worse than Bo'ness with them fielding two ineligible players. Anyway the Dundonald "offence" earlier in the season set the benchmark so not much else the EOSL could do.

The point is they would have been reinstated if they hadnt committed an offence, ergo they suffer because they broke the rules otherwise they would be playing Camelon.

But they did commit an offence hence the punishment. You would be as well saying if Bo'ness hadn't committed their offence they would be playing Camelon in the final. At the end of the day both clubs were at fault hence both being punished by the EOSL. The Hi Hi secretary was gracious in his facebook post admitting he was at fault if he can get over it I don't know why you have to get so worked up about it.

Not getting worked up at all! Just making an observation about what the additional punishment of exclusion actually achieves. IMO nothing.

They couldn't just let them away with it if the punished both Dundonald and Bo'ness for the samething. Only otherthing they could do was give clubs fines but would that be any better?

Well the punishment is not being reinstated as they would have been had they not also committed an offence. IMO.

Anyway, not worth debating further.

Surly replaying the game would have been easier to still have a final as a spectacle especially it it was at Easter Road robbed guys the chance to play somewhere like that who may not get the chance again

Don't be daft. Two teams who broke the rules shouldn't get a second chance - imagine if one of them beat Camelon in the final, robbing them of the opportunity to play a SOS team for a Scottish Cup place. And anyway, who's paying for the hire of Easter Road when you've only got a few hundred spectators?

According to EOSfl page the final vs bonnyton thistle or mid annandale will be on 8th December. Camelon fb has it at lockerbie now I'm a big supporter of the pyramid but that's a ludicrous venue for a final for two teams if bonnyton get through is a 90 minute trek

Is like the champions league the venue is set at start of season. It could be on the moon for all we care as long as we win it.

The final venue alternates between the SoSL and the EoSL. Last seasons final was at Oriam in Edinburgh. Surprised that it isn’t being played at Palmerston if it’s down that way. A proper final feel to it as opposed to a cage?

It'll be a day out regardless

Are they suggesting playing it at Mid-Annandales ground?

http://nonleaguescotland.org.uk/midannandale.htm

Seats = none

Cover  = none

For a cup final in December?!!!!

Is there somewhere else in Lockerbie?

Congratulations to Camelon despite the surreal circumstances. Hopefully a suitable presentation occurs for their players, officials and fans - and also Sandy Jack's family.

Responsibility for arranging the Shield alternates between the 2 FAs each season.

Two seasons ago it was Lochar v LTHV at Lockerbie on a Saturday in April. Last season it was Tynecastle v Mid Annandale at Riccarton on a Sunday in November.

If Lockerbie the points about Mids potentially getting to play the final at home or else it being far from Kilmarnock + Falkirk, and the lack of any terracing or cover, are certainly valid IMO.

Camelon will start as heavy favourites. Good luck to them.

If Bonnyton win (higher in the SOS league but curiously not played Mid Annandale yet) then they should look at somewhere like East Kilbride for the final. Or if both teams must go to a SOS venue, they might as well travel a bit further to somewhere like Galabank or another licensed ground in the area.

Ludicrous if this gAme is in Lockerbie if bonnyton go through
