Should be. You're talking:

BSCG/Bonnyrigg
EK/Preston
'Shire/Linlithgow
Jeanfield/Stirling Uni
LTHV/Cumbernauld/Gretna/Camelon
Newtongrange/CSS/HoB/Musselburgh
Peebles/Penicuik/Coldstream
Sauchie/Edinburgh Uni

It’s going to be very interesting to see who’s left LL / EoS wise out of that.

I love when you update these threads. I'd imagine the 3 4th round ties be played midweek under the lights

So overall the Eos won 5-3 against the lowland league yesterday.

This can only add to the LL2 self preservation train.

Surely the "self preservation train" is the SJFA endorsed 4x leagues at Tier 6 with only ONE promotion opportunity.

Rather than a LL2 that could have to 2-3 automatic relegation spots.

One promotion opportunity at tier 6

"could have" 2-3 promotion slots from what will be tier 6  LL2

In the meantime everyone else downed to tier 7

You do not paint a great picture tbh.  Any tier 6 will be better than tier 7.

LL will only open up more promotion if they get a 2nd league ? That is the definition of self preservation

Why wouldn't they? The whole reason they have the current set up was because they wanted to ensure a certain standard at Tier 5 that the SPFL would find acceptable.  LL2 would likely enforce licencing as a requirement after a grace period. Which is something that would make free movement between the leagues more likely.

And it's not exactly everyone down a tier as LL2 would have to be made up of clubs from somewhere.
