Hip Priest
Surely it's the Goth if you're going to the Pans. Not sure if the microbrewery there is currently in use, but the pub is well worth a visit regardless.
razamanaz
Are Camelon getting a 3/4G community pitch like Bo'ness and Dunipace? I noticed that there were workers in on the park

I noticed that there were workers in on the park There was talk under the previous committee (or maybe the one before that or the one before that) of having an artificial pitch put in for 2020 - haven't heard anything about it for a while now so don't know what the current state of play is but there were plans.....

In some games he was a 9/10 and in others 3/10. I had heard that he was a better more consistent player these days so you may have made a great signing. Sent from my XT1039 using Pie and Bovril mobile app Watched the lad for most of the last two seasons. Far too good for the Junior grade and should be playing at a much higher level. When he's good he's almost Unplayable and getting that consistently from him will be key. Big miss for Broxburn as he could also produce a moment of magic when playing poorly

Bit of a blow for Broxburn considering they are same conference as us

Cannot see past the two Roses for any promotion spot so the key will be to get into the top 4.

rhliston
Wish Camelon Juniors all the best for next season in their first season in the East of Scotland League. Caught a few games at the tail end of last season, hopefully the former Binos in their ranks, Connor McMullan, Ryan Lockie and Ross Cameron all have a great season for you and get you up near the top of your conference. Think Linlithgow Rose should win this Conference but you never know. Hopefully I will be able to get along to a few games next season at Carmuirs Park neat little ground, all you need is floodlights to bring it up to a decent standard any plans to install them in the future. ?
AlanCamelonfan
Last season's super league travelling total 576 miles average 38.4 miles Eosfl travel 344.5 miles average as less games 28.7 mI less. Quite a saving considering all the scaremongering

drs
Camelon 3 Edinburgh United 1 - East of Scotland League League Cup Qualifying Group EThe Mighty Mariners strike again!!! 100% record in the senior competitions!Romped into a 2 goal lead in the first half via a good Docherty finish from a cross and then the impressive Anderson slotted home a slightly dubious penalty. United had the opportunity to pull one back just before half time when they were awarded an even more dubious penalty but the Number 9 hit a poor spot kick that was easily saved by SHaw in the home goal.Into the second half and United came more into it and a 60th minute piledriver from 25 yards put them back within a goal. The Mariners huffed and puffed and put themselves under pressure with a series of misplaced passes and niggly fouls but it has to be said that United whilst seeing a lot of the ball were not really putting Camelon under pressure. A third goal with around 10 minutes to go from Anderson - who latched onto a ball over the top and trundled it past the advancing keeper to finally clinch the game. Not as impressive as Saturday but a win is a win and for me their was an extra gear there that could have been used if United had levelled.

Yes fair comments on last nights match, as you say not as impressive as Saturday but felt that Edinburgh United were a better side than Dunbar, cracking goal from them to make it 2-1. Should go onto Eyemouth on Saturday in a confident mood, hopefully another win.
