Bo'ness United 2018/19

Recommended Posts

Really chilly day for the trip to Dundonald tomorrow.      Very cold wind from the North which will be hitting the backs of 90% of the spectators who frequent the dressing room side so wrap up warm.        The BU chairman will hopefully be buying all the BU fans pies and bovril in an act of reconciliation.

Players are bound to be feeling down at this moment but this is where they need to stand up and be counted.  Hugely important League game from which 3 points would help to heal the wounds.

ps remember not to pick Comrie or MacDonald today.

According to the most up to date  suspension list (which takes less than 10 seconds to access :( )  Craig Comrie now only has a 1 match ban as they have rightly counted the Haddington game as the first game he "missed".

The same list shows Josh MacDonald has a 2 game ban .

I would still leave him out for 2  games just to be safe

They need the money but f**k them a greater  spectacle would be Falkirk stadium  and would be nice to see a team go into the big Scottish on playing merits

Feel sorry for the decent fans of Bo'ness but as for you two, you can get it right up ye.

You chose not to understand, simple terms Hearts played ineligible player and still in relevant tournament! Why should there be a difference in any tournament where the SFA administers the registrations and suspensions, you may not like it but it’s fact.

Your correct of course Boness should be deducted 2 points from the cup competition but reinstated. FFS

The statement by the Club doesn't go far enough with Chairmans comment that he will review his position over the coming days. IMHO our chairman should be reviewing  the manner in which this situation was allowed to happen ie due diligence with correct procedure. Strong leadership is required to remedy the situation and make sure it doesn't happen again.

Statement from the chairman should have said WHY he is considering his position. Every club committee has different people doing different jobs. Was the BU chairman responsible for checking the suspension list or was no committee person allocated that task.

At the moment it's 2 steps forward and then 3 steps back.

Bring back Tynieness !!!

Should never have been put in a position where he felt he had to leave in the first place. I also doubt there’d be any chance of that unless there was a complete overhaul of the committee.
