Hopefully the BU's get another game lined up for Saturday.

......................and if it's not asking too much how about some transfer news.

A wee reminder of the BU side that defeated  West Calder in a penalty shoot out in the Fife and Lothians Cup (1st round) on 7th October 2017.

1. Alexander Marshall
2. Michael Gemmell (captain)
3. Devon Jacobs
4. Will Snowdon
5. Ross Campbell
6. Andy Shirra
7. Calum Scott
8. Ryan Millar
9. Jack Wilson  (replaced by Scott Sally 56 mins)
10. Ryan Batchler (replaced by Fraser Keast 45 mins)
11. Connor Flynn-gillespie

Three memories from the game:-

Cracking control and finish by Ross "goal machine" Campbell late in the game to make it 2-2

A professional foul by Michael Gemmell to stop West Calder probably getting a late, late goal.

A Scott Sally attempt in the penalty shoot out that is probably still up in the air.

Think that game was also the worst first 45 mins in BU history.

The first 45 was truly dreadful. Don't think the team managed to string more than 3 passes together. I say "the team" but the one thing that was clear was the 11 BU players were not playing as a team.

Think that 'accolade' belongs to a day at Carnoustie in 2012

That was the catalyst for big 'Hunts' to return.  Won our next game at Lochee!

No Linlithgow game confirmed

Bo'ness and Linlithgow the 'odd' teams in their respective conferences on New Year weekend (Saturday 29th December). Perhaps a festive challenge match could get the local punters out of the house and banish their derby blues.

Cracking idea.  Could play for the old George Simpson Memorial Cup, contested between the clubs on an irregular basis in the past.

As a general comment, it is mind-blowing having a full fixture list planned out for us.  Great work by the guy(s) at the EoSL
