Delighted to keep our momentum going with another win today, and it could have been quite a few more than six had it not been for some good saves by the Larkhall keeper.

Simeon's hat trick goal was a delightful finish.

Despite taking 22 points out 24 though, Benburb are right on our tails, the only game they've lost being the first game of the league season at our place. Rossvale are still unbeaten and would be only two points behind if they win their game in hand. Cumbernauld and Whitletts are not too far behind either.

A welcome 3pts after the leathering we took last week , better side in 1st half but 2nd half mostly lie , and they can consider themselves unlucky not to get a point after pummeling us for last 25mins , a few fine saves by our keeper and some stout defending meaning we got the points emoji16.png

Agree with most but wouldn't say "pummeling " for 25 mins, we had 2 or 3 chances during that period to put the game to bed

I thought more or less the same. good 3 points but could have lost it or won by more as both teams had chances 2nd half. we played well first half but our midfield picked up a few bookings and looked like they were worried about getting sent off and lost their control of midfield. also worryingly we picked up a few injuries but hopefully ok for next week.

Looking forward to the Cumbernauld & Rutherglen games in our next two league fixtures. We'll be able to tell where we are as a team (here's hoping no injuries or work for these games).

Doubt we'll win the league now. Give us Ladeside or Irvine Medda in the playoffs.

Don’t think there are playoffs

There are no play-offs anymore.

There's an interesting quirk with the fixtures. For the last four weeks, Cumbernauld United have played the team that Rutherglen Glencairn play the following week. Except if Cumbernauld play them at home then Glencairn play them away, and vice versa. Looking at the fixtures ahead, that pattern carries on for the next five league games !

Would think that avoiding relegation would have been main aim at start of season?

Do we have play offs this season?
