I think any misunderstanding regarding Darvel's finances may well have begun some time ago when someone (possibly you,bud? ) remarked that they'd always be rolling in dough. I can assure everyone that we aren’t offering eye watering wages to anyone. I have only spoken to a couple of players as we are still reviewing the squad, before we decide what changes we are making if any. I have demanded a lot before and since I have been appointed but it has more to do with creating a professional environment within the club, I haven’t asked fir any specific budget. I have even knocked back a salary, money isn’t my motivation nor do I want it to be players sole motivation for being at the club. I have challenged the club with supporting me in building a culture and environment that will be as professional as any part senior club in the country.
