HibeeJibee
Lowland League began in 2013-14, and in that season you visited Netherdale on Saturday 9th November. Last season you visited on Saturday 9th September. So you've been down twice on a Saturday not once. Obviously it's still a bit freakish but not as bad as the legend has it. I've never looked up the most frequent midweek fixtures in LL, but NLM website database should let me.

Monday 9th July, although EOS Qualifying League fixtures and the opening cup rounds have already been issued, taking upto late August. 2 hours ago, HibeeJibee said: I've never looked up the most frequent midweek fixtures in LL, but NLM website database should let me. So: including the coming season's there have been 194 midweek fixtures in 6 seasons of LL, of which 117 have been in the first half of the season (implying mainly scheduled midweek rounds) and 77 in the second half (implying mainly rescheduled postponements). Here's the totals of home midweek games per club. Obviously cup runs or poorer pitches total more/newcomers less:18 Stirling Uni, Whitehill 15 Vale 14 East Kilbride 13 BSCG, Edinburgh Uni 12 Preston 11 Selkirk 10 Dalbeattie, Gala, Gretna 9 Spartans, Threave 8 Cumbernauld 7 Edinburgh City 6 Hawick 4 East Stirlingshire 3 Edusport 2 Civil Service, Kelty Most popular midweek fixtures have been played 5 times... Vale of Leithen-Gala (4 at Innerleithen/1 at Netherdale) and Vale of Leithen-Spartans (3 in Edinburgh/2 in Innerleithen). Four times has there been Gala-Whitehill (all 4 at Netherdale); Cumbernauld-Whitehill (3 at Broadwood/1 at Rosewell); Selkirk-Vale of Leithen (3 at Yarrow Park/1 at Innerleithen); BSCG-Whitehill (2 at each); Edinburgh Uni-Stirling Uni (2 at each); Selkirk-Spartans (2 at each). No fewer than 20 different fixtures have been played 3 times... including: Dalbeattie-Gretna all at Islecroft; East Kilbride-Stirling Uni all at K Park; Gretna-BSCG all at Raydale; Preston-Dalbeattie and Preston-Vale of Leithen all at Pennypit; Whitehill-Selkirk all at Rosewell. Surely wi the history o the park midwinter we could've squeezed in another getting games oot road. Gretna away is next year and the star 3 days before Xmas could be up in the elements wi another trek midweek in the spring if it's unplayable. Are edusport confirmed for galabank? Apart from that alls well. Eyeing up both as things stand. May stay over in Galashiels for Selkirk game if can talk better half into it. She been to Dalbeattie and VOL already so Gretna a good bet for a second night away. Hope I don't have to get married - again!!! Think Edu are at Annan again. We genuinely saw them at Civil last season and sat with their subs who proceeded to look into their polly bags and pull out crossiants and started munching! Absolute quality, couldn’t make it up!
