Raith Against The Machine
When he was fit, he was excellent for us. It's all going to come down to how often you can get him on the pitch. That he effectively retired six months ago doesn't fill me with confidence in his fitness.
CITYBHOY
Since you joined? You’re just under a different guise, “CITY1974”! Eh ?

Strange one.

gm_1982
Eh ?Your unique style of writing and bizarre non-use of apostrophes gives it away Sir.

He "retired" from full time football to concentrate on his coaching role . Brechin gives him the opportunity to play and continue to coach in much the same way Barry Smith did when he joined us as a player. Nothing strange or sinister. I just hope he gives the same to the team that Barry did. ...............We certainly need a bit of experience.
whereismillar
Serious question for you guys , do you regret getting promoted to the championship last season? asking as a lot of fans from the ch. teams all talk about "doing a Brechin" not having a go just curious as to your honest opinions. …... Peace ….(runs and hides behind the couch).

Peace ….(runs and hides behind the couch). Not at all. We didn't expect much and to be fair the first half of the season was quite good and we were giving most teams a good game . The second half was a disaster though as Dods got more and more defensive and negative. It was a refreshing change going to places like Tannadice , New Love Street etc as well. Plus we made a bit of money which helped ease the overdraft a bit. Edited January 5, 2019 by theoriginalhedge

Peace ….(runs and hides behind the couch). Money and interesting experiences aside the team that got promoted were poor with a poor manager. Pretty much nothing changed in squad or staff, the whole experience was brutal and failure by Dods to strengthen where we needed to has resulted in this season. The squad needs completely refreshed. The play offs was immense and something to treasure with my kids and financial gain from the championship helped. Do I regret it? There is no straight forward answer. A manager who filled the squad with defenders, set out to defend and frustrate but were not good enough to defend resulted in the season we had. Hope so going by the Stirling supporters he's got a bit of pace about him the kind of player that could do well with Jacko. Do we still have Hendry? Or is his loan finished don't remember the last time we had so many attacking players
