Not really mate. If you want to compete for the same thing, the rules have to be the same for all.

At what point do you stop? The same could then be said for the EoS/SoS and SJFA in future if Highland and Lowland are forced into the Transfer windows. (Ie, unfair on the league above) The professional game is restricted by these transfer windows, the semi pro game is not? That seems a logical place to have the change considering the advantages club 42 has over the other team anyway (home advantage in leg 2, 43k prize money for club 42 in spfl compared to next to nothing in HFL/LL)

All the clubs in L2  are semi pro. Of course the LL and HL should come into the transfer window why should they have a possible advantage over club 42. Cove sign Jimmy Scott is it fair if he scores thw winning goal in a play off against Berwick or Albion Rovers who quite possibly may have wanted to sign him but couldn't.

The clubs may be semi-pro but they play in a professional league. There is already a heavily weighted advantage in favour of club 42?

I would say playing stronger opposition week in week out is an advantage for club 42 when playing in a play off with LL/HL champions that's about it really you mention about home advantage in the 2nd leg but I don't think that's here or there playing wise we had to swap a play off game with Dunfermline but still slapped them on their own patch in the 2nd leg.

So what’s to stop East Kilbride slipping Donald Findlay 10 grand in an envelope if they are say, short of a striker? We terminate the contract of 1 of our strikers and he signs with East Kilbride in time for the play off. We have nothing to play for so no odds to us if a player leaves.

Not sure any of your strikers are good enough to get in East Kilbride team.:)

You’re maybe right pal, it’s just a made up scenario as you well know.

Although I’m sure they would have Jordyn Allan.

What about next season if yous are going for the title and your left back gets injured? We have 2 left backs and quite fancy Kelty coming up to get a derby in the league. Elgin are bottom and we are fed up with the costs and hassle of going up there twice a season.

A wee quiet chat between the relevant people and hey presto.

Any credit Bollan had in the bank is slowly evaporating. If we fail to win any of the final six games you really have to wonder if him staying on is in the interests of both parties. The football is grim to watch and we won’t be too far away from the bottom - sure it’s progress but not a great deal.

Unless we go on another wee run, of course. Doesn’t seem that long ago we were in with a shout of the play offs.

I’m surely not the only one who is worrying about us possibly finishing bottom? Six games left and only 12 points difference between us and last, can’t see where we’ll pick up any points in out last six games

We will not finish bottom. Berwick and Albion play each other. The chances of Berwick winning four and drawing one while we lose every game is next to zero.

It’s not inconceivable Albion could catch us as they seem to be on a wee run.

Sorry the way we're playing we could lose all six
