CowdenLoyal
Just think, if we'd been unlucky with injuries to defenders and not brought a decent CB in, Scullion would have been starting every game. He's finished - still don't know why he was back at us. -

Of course would love Deas to be here next season but probably unlikely so Marsh a realistic chance of continuity and a solid enough defender.
CowdenLoyal
That's not good. Has there been a fallout? I quite like Pyper but Marsh is better in almost every department for me.
Drifter
Right chaps, as Sevco boss Slippy G once infamously said, "We go again"... and this time tomorrow, I hope to be sat in the Junction having enjoyed a few drinks, after meeting Blind Paul in Dunfermline en-route, and not to be greeted with the same news as a week Friday on arrival in Fife's Chicago! And hopefully see more of you than I did last time. I'm packing the layers, hat, gloves, scarf in anticipaction for the Baltic conditions and all set for another 8.30am departure. See you again tomorrow, and... C'mon Cowden!

Muzza81
Anyone know why? Very surprising given the timing and leaves us extremely short. He’s a big Rangers fan so would have been looking forward to tomorrow’s game I assume. Clearly something has happened.
Muzza81
Looks like he’s away back to Stenny.
CowdenLoyal
We'll bring back Pat no doubt.I'm actually really gutted at this. We certainly do need to bring in another CB now. Unless Bollan does something crazy like find a place to play Harvey Swann.

Obviously he was desperate to play tomorrow and wasn’t going to happen. im only repeating what boys are saying, so can’t verify if true.
PELE
I get the impression our bench will be full of our best players tomorrow, with the exception of McGurn and Deas. Has Bollan got his eye on someone else in the window?
Callous_Pint
Can't believe David Marsh has been released. Farcical. A league one quality centre half. Furthermore, why was Jamie 'The Carthorse' Pyper getting played ahead Marshy? The most recent in a series of Bollan blunders which is surely going to hinder Cowden's play-off chances.

We aren’t quite good enough to challenge top 4, even though we have improved this season.

With Marsh gone and the strange team selections, it looks out of reach for 4th now. Still just glad to be away from the dreaded bottom spot, but looks really like a missed opportunity.
