Surely the lad Deas has pace and is an option at CB?

Be interested to hear everyone's views on our strongest XI now. We appear to have such an imbalance with very little width or pace available?

Yes he has pace and he’s a big lad as well. Pyper is fast too, but otherwise a bomb scare, constantly holding on to opposition players, passing is terrible. Don’t know if you were there on Saturday, but I don’t think anyone could believe the line up we started with.

The last fifteen minutes we were all over Albion, but that was after Cox,Smith and Sheerin were brought on.

Haven’t a clue why Talbot wasn’t included. Probably our best player.

Not sure. Doesnt look as quick as pyper but will surely be sharp if he is a full time footballer. But with scottish football who knows.

My starting x1 would be mcgurn/mullen/talbot/pyper/deas then midfield of fraser/malcolm/brad smith and robbie buchanan with sheerin and cox

Not a massive cox fan but renton and sheerin poor together. Sheerin and scott are ok very little pace though.

New lad skelly aint seen him play so cant comment yet. maybe him and sheerin up top?

Decent shape to that side but CB an issue for sure. Mental that Swann cant get in our team now - something must be up there as last season he looked the only player with any sort of ability at times.

very lazy and off the ball doesnt do enough. Not bad on it. If he had workrate of say brad smith who also has decent quality at times he would start. Robbie been doing ok for us. Our squad aint bad in terms of numbers and competition.

Deas in for Pyper and that team would win more than they’d lose.

Any pubs near?

f**k all. It’s abysmal for that - Doo’cot is recently opened again but apparently rough as f**k so will probs go there for a pre match beer. The rest will be in town.

The Village hotel and gym has some bar but I’ll be swerving that.

I’ll be in there taking bodies pre match.  It’s down Ferry Road towards Drylaw. Only recently opened again.

I've probably been past it on the way to Civil Service Strollers, talking about Drylaw shame they knocked down the Gunner could have went in there for a swift one.

Not that your going there but I believe it is a dear pint in the Village.

Nelly's. team exactly the one I would pick, and for the same reasons. A decent bench too with Miller Marsh Swann Renton and Skelly. Renton seems short on fitness and bereft of confidence, according to Lichtie 1320  Skelly clearly has potential but is going through a tough time, while we all know what Swann is capable of but for whatever reason, it's just not happening. It will be a measure of Gary's abilities as a manager if he can get the best out of them, and if he can this squad has possibilities.

This team would be more than capable of steering clear of Albion.  If we had started the match on Saturday with the team that finished it then I'm certain we'd have won the game.  Smith is just more direct while the difference between Sheerin and Renton is immense just now.  Renton had a 1 on 1 chance in the first half and as soon as he was released I said he'd not even get a shot away - defender got back and tackled him easily enough.

Bollan fucked up on Saturday.  The game was crying out for Talbot I thought especially with Deas looking so uncomfortable. Twice in the 1st half he pushed forward but then followed the ball into the middle of the pitch leaving 2 Albion players on their right wing totally open. He's young but that's the basics that he was doing wrong.

I think a lot of people under estimated Rovers though. They were actually a bit better than I expected and could easily have been 3-0 up if it weren't for McGurn.

So after all the shouting, when it comes done to it we haven’t really improved at all.

Another battle to stay up, with it unlikely to result in the same outcome should we be in the play off.

Retained too many of the squad who came last, and blew the budget on a striker who got us to last the season prior.

No cup money unless we fluke it against Clyde.

Shite style of play and a manager who has now lost the plot with his selections.

WTSS

You only have to finish above one team and as you've now developed a reputation as Relegation Play-Off Specialists I hope you do.

I want someone to come down to give the pyramid some fluidity.

What Do any of you @bluebrazilfc  really fans think of Really Donald Findlay?

Sorry but your question does not  appear to make any sense but if your question is what do you fans really think of Donald Findlay then that would be up to each fan to answer if they wished to share their opinion.

Not sure of the relevance of your question and why you wish to know?

Speaking  as a fan, my own personal opinion of him as our chairman of our club is I think he is a very genuine man who demonstrates a very passionate caring interest in the football club whilst having the highest degree of loyalty. I personally fully respect him for what he has achieved for the football club and admire his continued ambitions/drive for the football club to try and fulfill their ambitious plans as a football club despite the difficult challenges the club faces.
