Tutankhamen
Had the powers that be built that bridge/tunnel they've been talking about for for the last 120 years, i might have went along to that to the Linfield Swifts v Newington Cup Final at Seaview today.

Jacksgranda
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/50925365 Cliftonville 3 points clear at the top after winning 2-1 at Larne, no easy match that. Linfield second with a game in hand after a 1-1 draw at the Coleraine Showgrounds. Coleraine third on goal difference, having played 23 games. Glentoran beat Ballymena and Crusaders thrash Dungannon Swifts 5-0. Another 5-0 defeat for the Swifts, who seem to have lost their way somewhat. However Institite crashed 3-0 at the Brandywell to Carrick, although Warrenpoint Town picked up another point, this time away to Glenavon. Glentoran fourth on goal difference from Coleraine and Crusaders a point behind the Glens. Sixth are Larne, 11 points behind Crusaders on 32. Bottom half: Seventh Glenavon on 27 points then Ballymena on 26. Both sides will be disappointed with their showing so far. Ninth are Carrick with 25 points, they'll be happy with that. Tenth are the Swifts, 7 points behind Carrick and only 5 above Institute and Warrenpoint who are separated only by goal difference. It looks like it's between these 3 for the relegation/play off spot. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/50935765 Glentoran v Ballymena https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/50935767 Coleraine v Linfield https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/50935686 Larne v Cliftonville https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/50935769 Crusaders v Dungannon https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/50935865 Institute v Carrick https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/50935869 Glenavon v Warrenpoint

On a par with Carrick (then a B division outfit) winning the cup final against Linfield in 1976. I can remember that one. And Dundela (also a B Division outfit) beating Glenavon 3-0 in the 1955 final. I don't remember that one...

Maybe not - the Glens are now top with a comeback win over Warrenpoint Town at The Oval. Listening on the radio tou would have thought Danny Wallace was the only player 'Point had. Maybe if they had have had 10 more they wouldn't have lost. All the chasing pack have games in hand, of course. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51078318 The only other game to escape the weather was Glenavon v Institute, 2-2 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/av/football/51077560 And Belfast Celtic in the news again (perhaps for the wrong reasons) https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51085867 Edited January 13, 2020 by Jacksgranda Update & sllepnig
