I hope some of you on here can help me. I'm planning a weekend over in Belfast in November, going to Northern Ireland v The Netherlands on Saturday 16/11 (7.45pm KO). I had a look at other fixtures and Glentoran are at home the same day. If they play at 3pm, I assume it will be easy enough to get from there to Windsor Park? Is there likely to be a game on the Friday night? I assume there won't be anything south of the border as their season will have finished by then?

Piss easy Marten. You can even order a bus pass online for 3 or 4 quid and it’ll pop through your door 2 days later. If you’re flying into City Airport you can use the pass right from the front door. In fact you can walk to The Oval from there in 20 mins. A good game at The Oval if it’s a poor match is to try and get a photo of the shadow of a plane on the pitch 😂

Great result for Crusaders.

But Cliftonville go down.

And Ballymena get a complete doing, much to the chagrin of my Ballymena supporting former work colleague, who travelled to Malmo.

Know of a ticket going for Mick Conlan’s homecoming fight if anyone wants one for face value?

Sorry to quote myself, thought it may appeal to any of our Ireland (North or South) based posters. Fight in Belfast, but Conlan is very much a Republican.

Sutjeska Niksic will be challenging for Linfield, but almost doable because I'd be surprised if all their squad is full-time. Fingers crossed the Blues reach the group stages. The Champions path is a sensible innovation even if it makes life a bit more difficult for our clubs.

The big kick off and Glenavon - with 10 men - draw with Glentoran. Can't see either side being particularly happy with that result.

Everyone else plays today: Coleraine v Cliftonville

Crusaders v Carrick Rangers

Dungannon Swifts v Ballymena United

Larne v Warrenpoint Town

Linfield v Institute

It's hard to see past Linfield, Crusaders and Ballymena again. Larne might ruffle a few feathers, Oran Kearney has a rebuilding job to do at the Ballycastle Road Showgrounds, Carrick, Warrenpoint and Institute the strugglers? Big things may be expected by Glentoran fans now the dust has settled on the Oval takeover, they might have to show a bit more patience before the good times return.

Great result for Linfield! Some money in the bank now! Qarabag should be too good though in the next round

Great result and fair play to them,....  nice to see them get a badly needed cash injection which should ease the burden on their main sponsor, the IFA
