Ross County will have Dundee United at home, that's pretty certain. So that means one of the other three will also make the trip to Dingwall. As far as Alloa is concerned, I would like Ross County at home and Dundee United away. Dingwall is a great away trip, but we beat them at home in the group stage two years ago and hoping for a repeat.

Cause its the only good game out of 4.

Alloa and County away midweek is crap.

And Elgin at home. Meh

We don’t have County away midweek. County at home doesn’t make a massive difference because they wouldn’t have brought many fans anyway and Elgin is a winnable tie. We were only likely to get 1 decent tie anyway.

I'd be worried if we were up against one of the bigger Angus clubs like Montrose, but we should see a decent opening victory at Tannadice.

I'd also be worried if we were facing the big team in Dundee but seeing as we've got the Dundee diddies we might just give them a game.

Looking forward to getting to the game tomorrow and the start of another season.  Full of confidence as always at this time of the season and I expect a comfortable win.

Prediction - United 4 Arbroath 0.

Only cause for concern, Bobby Madden is ref.  "Brother Madden" as I have occasionally heard him called.
