Or that a tabloid journo made a complete fuckup of a detail regarding a non-OF team. Just for a wee change.

D'Jaffo
Wouldn't be surprised if there was something in it. Alan Reid's left Albion Rovers and would be a steady enough (if not exactly exciting) League One signing. Also wouldn't be surprised if the big man was at the windup mind you He’s just signed for Stenny

Jan Vojáček
Meh. It's not the most exciting piece of business I've seen, but I'd imagine Dyer will do a solid job for us in League 1. Hopefully his arrival opens the signing floodgates!

optimistic
Times we live in now. He’ll get our backing until we discover if he’s shite or not
sonsism
I just want us to sign a centre back under the age of 30. Is that too much to ask for?

Bring Back Paddy Flannery
Can we assume that Dyer signing means McLaughlin is gone? I can't imagine the budget will stretch to having guys like Dyer sign as backup.
sonsism
I'd rather have Barr tbh.I was hoping we'd keep Dowie and Barr and get a younger guy in for back-up. Just hate not having defenders with pace as an option. Mind you if Andy Graham can still get a team promoted several years after looking done with us we'll probably be alright... The Moonster
If Dyer does anywhere near as well as Dougie Hill did for us then he'll do fine. With Dick gone and Boomer silent we needed to move for a left back, I reckon we could do a lot worse.

Judging by the Trust's tweet Dyer's a local guy, so that's endeared him to me already. gm_1982
Dyer is the most one footed player you’ll ever see and he cost us numerous goals because of his inability to use his right foot. He’s served us well but Can’t say I’m sorry to see him go.
