And then expecting us to adopt their language and culture and shut everything down on Sundays.

Anyone ever been to Portree or Stornoway on a Sunday?

Don't.

Portree on a Sunday is the same as Portree any other day. It's always like that.

They are away to open the cinema at An Lanntair on Stornoway for a trial period so expect the seas to boil and the earth to fall in on itself.

Although that said a storm did blow up on the first Sunday sailing from Stornoway to Ullapool.

If there’s a direct positive correlation between speaking Gaelic and sky fairy fuckwittery then I am opposed to it.

Otherwise I couldn’t give a f**k.

If I lived in a windswept backwater like that, I'd probably believe in hell too.

Thai doesn't 11 is a different word as is 21, 31...we use Nueng for 1 but 11 we say sip(with means 10) eet. Not sipnueng, while we use all the other numbers for teens, twenties and so...

Note for all. 13 is also an unlucky number here because if you turn the number on its side to the right. Is looks like the word ghost in written Thai language.

Teacher Slip is here all day.

Slip is winning so far

Anyone got anything more exotic than Thai?

I’ve been out drinking all day, and that may be my order at the Indian Restaurant tonight.

Should Skara Brae be bulldozed if circumstances arise?

91,000+ people visited Skara Brae last year, that's considerably more than the number of Gaelic speakers in Scotland.
