Well said, he's went out his way to raise funds for families in the community who sadly lost their loved ones. Not for people to like but because he cares about some of the boys who are no longer with us. Also he might say a lot but at least he backs it up with passion and determination, mix that with Billy's tactical nous and winning mentality.

That is why we have a great team playing for the scheme!!!

Super proud yesterday gave everyone a lift and well done to people going out their way raising money to send Children and parents to the game for free that's true community spirit.

I heard about this, seriously it goes above and beyond just about anything Iv heard in Amateur football. Amateur clubs depend on just about every penny they can get and here you have a club and it's supporters raising money to be able to send two bus worth of the less fortunate Comminity families to a game for free. Things like that are the reason every Ayrshire fan should / will want Shortlees to win the league aswell. It's a full community things with ppl like ryan Mccall and especially Cunny at the sides pushing these ideas. So well done again to everyone at Shortlees, not just for winning the Scottish cup, not only for doing it the right way but also putting your community before everything else. A new benchmark for clubs to try and meet .

Congratulations to Shortlees. Do you still get in the proper Scottish Cup through winning the amateur cup? If so do you get some sort of prize money as by all accounts from reading above this could go a long way to helping the community.

Cunny is a guy who lives and breathes football through his players at the club, you saw at the end of the game yesterday just how much it meant to him. thrilled for him.

The work he does for the community along with others is nothing short of amazing.

Take a Bow James.

watched this game on sunday, first half shortlees were ahead on merit.

thought goldenhill quick players would cause problems in second half after

getting goal just before half time.

putting wee guy on at centre half/sweeper just after half time was a master stroke from shortlees

management .he obviously seen where the problems where going to come from.

from then on in anything over the top he dealt with comfortably.

only question i would ask , why didnt he start ?

second half no team dominated and overall shortlees probably just shaded it .

Think its down to his work commitments as he is not always there on saturday.

Totally agree, he was outstanding when he came on and dealt with the goldenhill attack at a canter.

Yes were squeaky was excellent when he came on on Sunday thnk he is the only player left in squad from when Cunny restarted shortlees

thought also the right back Kieran Paterson had a very good game and the lad kris Chisholm was excellent in the 1st half

and watched big minor now in 2 cup finals and don't think he lost A challenge or headerin both games deserved his man of match award on Sunday

I’ve been watching Shortlees for a couple of years semi-regular and big Minor is my favourite player by far.

God knows how he puts up with Billy but to be fair to Billy it’s just his passion (and experience and knowledge) that gets him frustrated at times but he drags his team through.
