SPFL trying to negotiate a deal where we play every game at home. Genuine money worries for likes of St Johnstone, Aberdeen and Dundee if we don't go up this year.

I've heard this too. Sink us and we'll sink you.

Imo.

Dundee Utd

Ross County

Partick Thistle

Dunfermline

ICT

Falkirk

Morton

QoS

Ayr Utd

Alloa

I'll have what you're having.

A lot depends on signings but I think it's a given that both Thistle and County will be able to spend more and United will be cutting their budget (again) and still have Shambles as manager.

My prediction:

1 Ross County

2 Dunfermline

3 Partick Thistle

4 ICT

5 Dundee United

6 Falkirk

7 Morton

8 Queen of the South

9 Ayr United

10 Alloa

............ and Hartley's poor signing record at Dundee might also be issues.............

Actually his signings at the start of his first full season in charge, 14-15, were pretty sound, there were a  couple of duds but they were more than balanced with the likes of Bain, McGinn, Harkins, McGowan, Stewart, Thomson, McPake and Konrad who managed to just about get pass marks. Even Tankulic looked a player at first. His second season was a bit more of a mixed bag but there was still a bit plus when he signed Hemmings although in the first game against Kilmarnock Loy looked the much better of the two. It was the third season when he rushed out and "snapped up" a set of complete jobbers, the worst of whom had to be Williams and Vincent from ICT that it all went to hell. Let's hope that you get the first and not the third season version of Hartley

I'd say ourselves, Dundee United, Falkirk, Ross County, Partick Thistle and ICT will all believe they can win the league. This is going to be a hard league but too early to start predicting places. Looking forward to the challenge. The honeymoon/consolidation period is over for us and we should be putting a proper title challenge in next season.

Thankfully so far he's been avoiding championship and premiership jobbers and brought in players from down south who have in the main been pretty successful.

Wild expensive arms race for the title
Ross County
Partick Thistle

It's worth risking bankrputcy just to get out of this b*****ding league!!!
Falkirk
Dundee United

Attempting to build sensibly so could go either way
Dunfermline
ICT
Queens
Ayr

Clownshoes club that will either storm to the title or lose all their players and get relegated
Morton

Dumbarton
Alloa

Think it'll end up looking like this:

Partick
Ross County
Pars
Falkirk
ICT
Dundee United
Queens
Ayr
Alloa
Morton

Worried already people are predicting Thistle as a top half finish. We're honestly so shite at the moment.

You'll have one of the biggest budgets in the league, a decent manager who knows the league (whether you keep Archibald or not) and an entire summer window to sort out your shit, then a January cash spunk if it's not going well.

The season doesn't start at the moment.

Ro $$ County will throw money around like it is going out of fashion so I will be astonished if they fail to win the league.

Early prediction:

Ross County (P)

Dunfermline

Ayr United

Inverness (P)

Dundee United

Queen of the South

Partick Thistle

Alloa

Falkirk (P) (R)

Morton (R)

I have absolutely no idea how it will go to be honest, there is going to be allot of pissed off fans though regardless.

County and United will have their heart set on winning the title, while Falkirk will have one eye on the job that St Mirren done last season and fancy repeating it, you then have Inverness who finished the season stronger than anyone else, a Partick side that will see anything outwith the top four a complete failure with the money they'll have and Dunfermline will also be wanting to challenge competitively for the title.

If you go a bit further you then have Qots with the best player in the league and Ayr who have already come out with playoff aspirations. It will be crazily competitive.
