Dominique Malonga
That’s the first time I’ve been at the top of the East since the Falkirk play off game and it really is some view you get. Those steps will be the death of me though.

D Angelo Barksdale
The Faroese were a shambles tbh. A bunch of absolute jobbers who looked like they'd been cobbled together 2 weeks ago. It was like the coach had just randomly selected 11 names from a list. Ideal preparation for the derbies this season.
Frank Grimes
Is Hibs.net just a massive happy clapper board? Why are they wanking over a 14k crowd?
gannonball
I know they were part timers but still good to see a Scottish team dishing out a thrashing in the European qualifiers, I'm guessing the McGinn deal isn't too far off though given he was totally left out. HibeeJibee
Runavik had possession and pressure for 10-15min after the opener, but thereafter were very limited (break + good freekick aside), resorting to timewasting and hard tackles. Should've been more.

Poet of the Macabre
Doesn't matter who you're playing, a 6-1 win in Europe is an excellent result for a Scottish side. Nice wee trip to Greece in the next round as well.

Austinho
We’ve just beaten a bunch of amateurs 6-1. Do we start acting like we’re going to win the whole competition now, or is that just an England thing? It’s coming home!

HibeeJibee
Having only won a solitary European tie since the 1980s... it an Intertoto Cup opener against Dinabug Daugvpils... progressing, plus most likely with a thumping winning margin, is satisfaction enough. Good stop from close range against Shaw at 4-0 and a couple saves in the second half, one from Whittaker at the end. Runavik were a weird mix. Some of their players looked quite good, as both free kicks on goal were good efforts (goal aided by deflection), one of them absolutely did Darren McGregor before the goal, and they worked the ball into reasonable positions several times. But they also had some who looked like they had never played football in their lives, such as the goalie (for a start) and the left back made Martin Boyle look like Mbappe. I wouldn't be shocked if they got some sort of result in the return leg. I think the Hibs players will be more worried about not getting injured, given some of their tackling.
