I don’t really want to go into what Colville has and does that other clubs don’t cause I don’t want to come across as being arrogant or disrespectful and also not having the inner knowledge of how each club works.

I just sell the club, how we run it, how professional we run it, the standards and expectations that are required to be part of it, and how I see the individual fits in to my plans.

As Das Scooter said we’ve had a sustained period of success and getting major finals over the last 7 - 8 years, and how competitive we are in our own league. Not everyone we try and sign wants to be part of it.

But like Billy and Cunny it’s ourlives we give it hundred percent, the amount of work that goes in behind the scenes from the coaching staff, committee and players is remarkable dedication.

Utter utter bollocks, only difference between yourself and HT is you guys are not under the smaller Ayrshire microscope and don’t have such a high profile local rival, for the success you have achieved with not 1 penny spent as you claim then why don’t you challenge yourself at a higher level ??

Ie; move into junior management, and before the come back is “I have had the chance but committee, set up wasn’t up to that of Collvile”

Don’t kid yerself

Haha were not under the microscope we don’t have a big rival, no mate we have more than one big rival several in fact.

I don’t need to kid myself, I have no interest in testing myself anywhere I’m more than happy we’re Iam mate.

The reason several people accuse HT of paying is there are countless players out there who have claimed to have received or been offered money to play there. The problem you get now is no one can have success without being accused of the same thing.

We don’t have millionaire business men on our committee or sponsor us. Every penny we raise goes back into the club to help us run it like 99% of amatuer clubs in the country.

And mick while I'm on for one minute do I  not think yous pay your players

but I'm wondering how yous as a club can manage season after season to attract the good players from some of your biggest rivals the players yous have signed this season have played in major finals with there ex clubs so how did u manage to sign them for Colville park what has Colville got that there ex clubs havnt

Better chance of winning major trophies..

When an ex player is 60 yr old and telling his grand weans about his playing days is he going to show him/her their bank statement or Medals and trophies?

We can offer the same now to players.

You think in 30 years time weans will be running about telling each other there grandas won a couple a medals at amatuer fitbaw level?

Heard the same with Tony McNally. plus there are also going to send him to a specialist regarding the injury he picked last year.

Only saw him play 3/4 times, nothing special from what ive seen.

Don't rate Tony McNally. I don't even think he was AFC's best defender from what I saw. Not a patch on Philipson. The lad Yogi is going too Shortlees. He is a top player and will be some signing for them

Imo if Phillipson was fit and could make every Saturday he could play with any amateur team he wanted and easily play with decent junior sides, he's the best at attacking set pieces that I've seen in amateur football, think at thistle he scored more in one season than most strikers would have scored.
