Hopefully means Aaron Norris gets a deserved chance, best youngster Peterhead have imo, can you take McLean in a BOGOF offer? cabbage74
Any news of possible signings in this transfer window. Always thought our squad was thin to start with but with the youngsters out on loan and the inevitible injuries and suspensions to come, The dug-out’s going to get quite bare.

Plenty in the dugout, just a shortage of football players.
blueone
Probably going to be zero. Or a last minute gamble on someone clearly not fit for purpose. Same situation as last season looms.
Blootoon87
Has there been any recent news regarding Nicky Riley? Are we likely to see him playing this season/ever?

Its been a long hard road & hopefully can get back playing at some point. Glad the club have given him a decent level of support.

Blootoon87
I take it he's Lyle's replacement.

Thom & Gerry
Can we have McLean on loan? He must be pretty pissed off! Would have thought you had enough forwards? Now you sign another injury prone one. Jim obviously gambling like last year that he is not going to get any defensive injuries. Dont shout at Sutherland!
blueone
Yeah, sounds like a last throw of the dice by Jim. Remains to be seen whether it pays off. Can understand it a bit in that McLean has been poor this season and Lyle hasn't scored as many as expected. Rory hasn't been 100% fit for a while either. Hopefully he'll play up front and allow Dow to be more creative from deeper. Seems Jim's philosophy is still to score more than we let in.

That was Mixu's philosophy when he was Cowden's manager. Worked fine, exciting football, don't knock it.
Toon 68
yeah strange one, but there must be somebody moving on at end of season (rusty / Lyle ?)
Lord Catto
Jim has to be careful at his age. Anymore knee jerks like this and he’ll need his knees replaced!Baffling signing.
Guest TOPFITTER
Play 3 at the back, Jason, Mick and Cammy midfield 4 Jamie, Wullie, Simon and Ryan, 3 up front Rory,Shane and Del. Enough creativity, enough supply for goals and 3 centre backs to assist Greg with Si helping out as per Normal. Wullie and Jamie doing the donkey work tracking back.Looks like a positive plan from the gaffer. Can do a plan a + b now, guess Rusty will struggle for any game time now !!!
