Lee Wallace is close to 'past it'.  If we are looking for players with ambition and hunger, he'd be very low down on the list.

If he's half as decent as he was he'd be a massive upgrade on both Booth and Robson.

If Dundee are to lose Ralph, I'd be more than happy with Wallace coming in.

Fake news.

From Neilson's appointment:-

County
- Points 54
- GF 49
- GA 30
- GD 19

United
- Points 54
- GF 37
- GA 26
- GD 11

I can only apologise; I was wrongly quoting a prior post in this very thread... but the point almost stands.

Sawesome someone on twitter suggesting United are likely to sign Lee Wallace last night.

If it happens I will walk barefooted on a patch of stinging nettles.

In my eyes, left back is the weakest position in our squad - Robson looks  far better that bit further forward and Callum Booth is, in my view, a pretty dreadful footballer.  Whilst relatively solid as a defender, his distribution (and, in particular, his crosses) is absolutely woeful and that's simply not good enough if we want to be challenging for the title.  On Sunday his crosses stopped a few promising attacks.

Wallace would be a very welcome addition.

Not convinced. He's a reject. Why should they care?

He came on at Ibrox recently for his first game in however long and was given a standing ovation and had, "There's only one Lee Wallace" sang so he's obviously a bit of a hero to them.

Fair enough, but he's still being released. It's not like United would be poaching someone they wanted to keep. Fans generally quite enjoy punting unwanted players onto lesser clubs.

Bring back Ciftci I say, plenty tasty Dee limbs for him to nibble on next season.

I thought he didn’t bite anyone:

"The club has interviewed Nadir today as the accusation levelled against him is very serious," United's statement said.

"The player is both surprised and upset by the accusation and, on discussing the matter in detail, it is clear to us that the player has not been involved in any such incident.

James McPake evidently learnt to grass from Jim Mcallister.

I agree. Brilliant signing.

PP has the potential to piss this league too but we've thought that with other players before so fingers crossed.

If Sow signs, it's w@nk central.

What an outstanding day’s work.  5 solid, experienced signings.

Sow on an 18month deal is a brilliant signing

We can still do this.

A quite simply unbelievable transfer window.
I think Robbie has been given the remit deliver, or you are out on your arse.
Never seen a manager backed to this extent.

If we dont win this league by at least eleventy-eighteen and a half points then i will be fucking amazed.

What a fucking window. I cant believe we've signed football players!

When all fit and available Im guessing our team will be something like

           Keeper

Seaman  Connoly Butcher Reynolds

                Fyvie.   Gomis

Pawlett.     Smith.     Nesbitt

                Safranko/Sow

Or

Keeper

Seaman Connolly Reynolds Booth

                 Fyvie/Butcher

Pawlett.    Smith.      Nesbitt

           Safranko.   Sow.

Ooft. The Americans have gone baws oot. What a time to be alive!

Sow will bang goals in like he did for Hearts.

After seeing Sow getting a hard time on the dab thread I took the liberty of looking back to when he was signed. What a difference a few months can make.

Posting on P&B? Quite literally what you are doing.

At least you are taking it well, etc.

It's no wonder Dregs come out swinging, m8. He's never seen a manager backed so well.
