All right guys, whats the script with Keatings, heard a  rumour we were looking at a cheeky wee loan deal, what are the chances?

"Dundee United rejected your offer for James Keatings. They are unwilling to sell to a rival in the same division"

Also, it's fucking typical of you lot to try and unsettle one of our players before a big game.

I'm a great admirer of Swanson but I'm not at all convinced that he would be a good signing. I'm not sure he'd be fit enough to make a regular contribution. Nor can I see him fitting into a formation with two strikers. As much as the performance was criticised in some quarters on Saturday we at least played with a recognisable system. One which I think could be successful this season. Two centre forwards, two solid midfield players, two wide players to go down the wings and put the ball in the box. An appreciation of rocket science not required. The players recruited and retained make sense in that system. Add Swanson to the mix and there's a temptation to go back to farting about with a 4231. I'm not against a 4231 per se but I just don't think we're very good at it and I'd really rather not spend half the season tinkering with it in the hope that it might click at some point.

My preference would be another big centre half and centre forward as cover/competition for the guys already there. That'll dae. The Championship is a division for big physical lumps. If you can't beat 'em etc.

Thing is, we played Swanson on the right of a 4 and 5 man midfield and it worked ok as he tended to drift inside. His fitness is an issue but i feel hed offer enough when fit to justify. But then thats just me wanting the return of a player who was amzing to watch and was exceptional for us first time round.

However i agree with what you're saying regarding 4231 and now it seems Csaba has finally realised our relationship with the formation hasnt been very successful.

Hes also signed players that will fit into the system but I wonder if he'll change back to 4231 when Stanton and Fyvie are fit.

Or we could play 3 at the back

Rakovan
Watson frans new boy
Aird fyvie Stanton booth
Swanson
Safranko Clark/Curran

Now that is a good looking team

f**k it. Lets just go 2 at the back.

                Rakovan

            Watson  Frans

                   Fyvie

 Aird  Stanton Rabitch Loemba

                 Swanson

            Safranko Clark

We would average 4 goals a game. Not sure at which end though.

Another giant for defence. 6 ft3 Algerian psychopath who specialises in ripping opposition players heads of and eating their innards.

Ok. I made that up.

I have no idea how tall he is.

Just under 6'3", tbf. No word on his mental state.

He’s only 6 foot 2 and a half.

I believe that the rest of your post is deadly accurate though.;)

Absolute scouting shambles as usual.

A psychotic dwarf (midget?) is preferable to a softy giant at this point and in this league imho.
