I remember him scoring the equaliser against QoS in a 1-1 at Tannadice at the start of that season. He must have played in the countries top flight with his last club. Yeah he was with us in the Championship. I did read one suggestion that given he is Dutch and his last Dutch club were in the Eredivisie when he was there then that might have qualified him for a work permit. The strange thing here is that it is John Gibson who is part of the hierarchy at the Dundee United Supporters Foundation so it seems strange that someone at DUSF has gone ahead and tried to do this without the support of the whole group. I realise I don't know any of the ins and outs, but if the chairman was looking for a full whack up front, was this guy maybe not looking to buy the club up front then allow the supporters group to pay for it in installments?
