Nothing to do with ambition, they love playing for Celtic and are making history [invincible season, double treble, and more to come].

Celtic are the equivalent of the school bully who thinks he's something because he can regularly beat younger kids at football, except he gets his arse handed to him on a plate on the rare occasion he has the courage to play against kids his own age.

That analogy doesnt really work, you are making out when Celtic go to Europe that are playing teams at their level.  The trouble is most of the teams we play blow us out the water financially just the same as Celtic blow all the teams in Scotland out the water financially. We are not allowed to moan about that though because we have the most money by miles in Scotland, its quite ironic.

Genuine question, how do your finances compare with Valencia's?

Salzburg have a wage bill of £41m compared to celtics £60mAgileTemptingGoitered-small.gif&key=d1d76c2637118f10c43e962df7cc907fe0ad664e1833cda297695953bba30723

Valencia spend £68 million on wages, so a wee bit more than Celtic.

However, the idea that Celtic can't compete financially in the Europa League is clearly questionable.  Not only that, but the ceaseless gibbering of this excuse is beginning to affect them on the pitch.

Celtic's wage bill is twelfth out of thirty-two clubs in the competition. Their revenue is listed as eleventh out of the same number of teams.
