Kieran Tierney

It may well be best for tierney to take breaks throughout the season to manage his body and be 100% for big games.

However given nearly every Scotland game is an important fixture and at best 1/3 of Celtic games are important, then why does he continually miss internationals and not take appropriate breaks with fixtures that Celtic will win comfortably regardless.

Some quality knicker-wetting on here.

The boy is clearly injured. Playing a set of international fixtures at the end of the season would be terrible for his physical fitness.

He's been injured for much of the season. There really is no story here.

Sure he will be tip top travelling around the world on celtic friendlies.....hes a wee bawbag if he could have chosen ROI call offs wouldnt be an issue for him.

But playing for Celtic in a league game, when they've already won the league, and a cup Semi Final against a team they routinely beat at Hampden, are somehow games he simply cannot miss?

This is spot on, any sensible Celtic fan will agree. Tierney has been nowhere near as influential for Celtic for months now, he's definitely carrying an injury and would have been rested more often if we had more LB options. If it's a hip injury similar to Andy Murray's it could be worrying.

How can anyone speculate that these international games wpuld be detrimental to his health when he is still playing and intends to continue playing competitive football now and until the emd of the season?

Anyone making a case for the wee p***k is clearly an advocate of club over country and has no issue with players picking and choosing.

Its ok to have that attotude but at least state that and dont try and make excuses.

You cant really have the argument that the Scotland games put him at risk without saying that his club are surely then putting him at risk today and all subsequemt match days.

If he NEEDS a rest for health reasons he should be having it. Celtic are either mismanaging their player, or the player doesnt give a f**k about Scotland.

On that basis he can f**k off.

Come on - if he's 'clearly injured', then why did he start for Celtic today? Perhaps because it was a vital game for them? Well are our qualifiers not vital? Or are we writing them off as 'free hits'?

He isn't actually required for Scotland.  There's a far superior, more experienced left back looking to win the Barclays in a few weeks.

Tierney can do what he wants regarding Scotland, I certainly don't lose sleep over it.
