Forfar Athletic News 2018 onwards

McCallum, Bain and Travis are on two-year deals so are contracted until 2020.

Coupe also signed new deal, which means 10 players are contracted for 2019-20.

As it stands, only Meechan, Easton, Reilly, Spence, Irvine and Malone are out-of-contract come end of season.

Sad to see Eddie go but he needs to play at this stage of his career

I suppose traveling will be an issue regarding the others mentioned, if a club closer to home comes calling then who knows....who knows what league we will be in??

JW needs to be trying to get Meechan and Spence tied up to new deals. As much as I'd like to see Easton and Reilly stay I think they are all but gone, I've heard Easton is definitely away and Reilly is still considering the rumoured move.

Will be a massive let down if we don’t keep hold of Meechan, Reilly, Easton & Spencer.

What 4 West coast based players, if we keep 2 of them we will be doing well.

Did Spencer just sign on until the end of the season then? He needs a new deal pronto
22nd Jan post on club website says only signed until the end of this season.

If we go either hybrid or part time next season when we inevitably crumble against Forfar in the playoffs, I'd be delighted if we went for Spencer and Easton (discounting the possibility of Forfar getting promoted which wouldn't be too surprising).

Today’s line up is exactly how I would start the team.
Agreed.

Even if Easton and Reilly are to leave they're amongst our best players so they should play.

I'd play the same team next week then for the dead rubber against East Fife I'd make changes, certainly start Muzza, Coupe and Aitken

Chalk & fromage - the difference between last week's dire performance and today's at Stenny.
Well done the Lads

I'd be happy to watch that team every week. The changes clearly worked and Reilly was loving it. The hunger missing from last week was back. The crossfield passes were excellent - and most moved the play forward. The back four were exposed a couple of times but overall were solid. The Baird Hilson moves were great and Easton was on form. Stenny had a couple of good periods but lost the plot in the last 15 minutes.

Big shout out to Drum and Choir - brilliant, guys.

Hungry from the start and some lovely stuff played. Very enjoyable performance and a bit spring back in the step. Maybe finish 2nd yet.

Totally head scratching we haven't been playing Reilly and Easton the last few weeks.

Totally head scratching that people cannot understand that players get dropped when not performing, i expect them both to start next week and end this persistent whinging.
