No, we have 5 teams in European competition this season, so 5 teams to enter after the group stages. Pretty sure.

Knock-out rounds
The eight group winners and three best runners-up progress to the second round, where they are joined by the five clubs competing in European competitions - Rangers, Celtic, Hibernian, Aberdeen and St Johnstone, who are also the cup holders.

Great interview with the manager on the club website, he's well thought out and appears optimistic - provided we can be more clinical. We're making chances which we didn't do last year, but it's putting the ball in the back of the net which is his focus.

Travis fucked again

Missed the game today, what happened to Travis, he's not done his ACL again has he?

Also, what a result 5-2, sure we still lost and don't progress but scoring 2 goals against premiership opposition, that's something we'd never have done last season!

Fans who saw the game, how did we do?

Stefan McCluskey on the scoresheet too. That's finally ended his goal drought!

Miles off it first half, much better second half with forward subs looking much more dangerous, result was never in doubt though.

Doris actually looks like he’s shed a few pounds over the summer

I can't remember who it was that mentioned it here, but Doris was definitely told by Gary Irvine that he would only receive a contract if he could lose weight and prove that he could regain his fitness. Looks like Doris has acted upon it and proved himself to the manager, although I think as the league gets under way that Gallagher & Aitken are his preferred front 2, with Doris likely making 2nd half appearances depending on how the game is going.
